wolfenstein new order game review
Alright, so I finally got around to playing Wolfenstein: The New Order, and boy, was it a ride! I had heard some good things about this game, but I was still kinda on the fence about it. I mean, it’s a reboot of a classic, and those can be hit or miss, you know? But I finally decided to give it a shot and see what the fuss was all about.
First, I downloaded the game and installed it on my PC. It took a while, but that’s normal for big games these days. While I was waiting, I read some more stuff about it online. People were saying it’s like that movie, Inglorious Basterds, but in space or something? Weird. Anyway, it finally finished, and I launched it.
Starting to Play
The intro was pretty intense. It threw me right into the action, and let me tell you, this game doesn’t hold back. I was playing as B.J. Blazkowicz, the series’ usual protagonist, and we were trying to take down this fortress. The graphics were great, and the gameplay was smooth. I was blasting enemies left and right, and it felt really satisfying.
Gameplay and Story
- The Story – So basically, the bad guys won World War II in this game’s universe, and you’re part of the resistance trying to fight back. It’s a pretty crazy concept, but it works. I found myself getting really invested in the story and the characters.
- The Gameplay – It’s your typical first-person shooter, but it’s done really well. You’ve got your usual weapons like pistols, rifles, and shotguns, but there are also some cool experimental weapons that are a lot of fun to use. There’s also a stealth element to the game, which I wasn’t expecting. You can sneak around and take out enemies silently, which is a nice change of pace from the all-out action.
Final Thoughts
I ended up playing through the whole game in a few days. I just couldn’t put it down. The ending was a little bit of a cliffhanger, but it made me excited for the sequel, which I’ll definitely be playing soon. Overall, I’d say Wolfenstein: The New Order is a must-play for fans of first-person shooters, and especially for those who are fans of alternate history stories. It’s a well-made game with a compelling story and satisfying gameplay. I really enjoyed my time with it, and I’m looking forward to playing more games in the series.
I guess this is it. I really recommend this game to all of you.
