who killed mia game review
So, I got this game, “Who Killed Mia?” It’s one of those murder mystery games, but kinda modern, you know? The whole point is to figure out who did in this influencer, Mia Star. She was apparently a big deal, and the game kicks off on the night of some fancy awards thing.
I thought, why not? Sounds like a good time. I grabbed a bunch of my college buddies, and we decided to make a night of it. We ordered some pizza, cracked open some drinks, and dove in.
The game is pretty much all digital. You go to different websites that are part of the game, watch videos, and scroll through fake social media profiles. We mostly used our phones, but you could use a computer too. It was all pretty well put together, I gotta say. The videos were decent quality, and the social media stuff felt real enough. This girl Mia, she was everywhere.
- We spent the first hour just getting the lay of the land. Who’s who, what’s the story, you know the drill.
- Then we started digging into the clues. There are interviews with the suspects, messages to go through, and all sorts of other stuff.
- We split up into smaller groups to tackle different parts of the investigation.
I won’t lie, it was a bit overwhelming at first. There’s a lot of information to sift through. But once we got into a rhythm, it was pretty fun. We were throwing around theories, arguing about motives, and generally having a good time playing detective.
The Real Fun
The best part, though, was the discussions. We’d come together every so often, share what we’d found, and debate what it all meant. This is where the game really shines. It gets you talking, thinking, and working together. Some of us are more into the drama, others are trying to be all logical and like a detective. That led to some interesting discussions. We had some disagreements, for sure, but it was all in good fun.

It took us a good few hours, but we finally figured it out. Or at least, we thought we did. Turns out, there are multiple possible endings, which is kinda cool. It means you can play it again and get a different result. And we debated for a long time whether we really got it right, but who knows?
My Final Thoughts
All in all, “Who Killed Mia?” is a solid game. It’s not perfect. The gameplay itself can feel a bit limited at times, mostly just clicking around and reading stuff. But the mystery is engaging, the characters are interesting enough, and it’s a great way to spend an evening with friends. If you’re looking for a fun, interactive party game, and you’re into that whole influencer culture thing, I’d say give it a shot. I’m not going to spoil it and tell you the murderer, no way.
Would I play it again? Maybe. With a different group, for sure. It’s definitely one of those games that’s better with more people. It’s not like other games we play, but it was worth it for the experience alone.
It was one of the best times we had in months. We will play it together again sooner or later.
