Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about them war games on that Playstation 5 thingy, the PS5, yeah, that’s it. My grandson, he’s always fiddlin’ with that thing. So, I see him playin’ all sorts of games, shootin’ and blowin’ stuff up. Some of ’em look real fancy, others, well, they just look like a bunch of ants runnin’ around.

Now, they got all kinds of war games, you know? Some are like them old-timey battles, with swords and horses and whatnot. Others, they got tanks and planes and all them modern gadgets. My grandson told me, there’s this game, Isonzo, yeah, that’s the one. It’s like, real war, like them documentaries on TV. People shootin’, bombs droppin’, all that mess. He says it’s pretty good, makes you feel like you’re right there in the muck.

Then there’s this other one, Operation: Polygon Storm. Sounds like a weather report, don’t it? But it ain’t. It’s more shootin’, more blowin’ stuff up. My grandson, he likes this one too. Says it’s fast and crazy, lots of action. I don’t get it, all that runnin’ around, shootin’ at nothin’. But hey, he likes it, so it must be alright, I guess.

• War Thunder: This one’s got planes and tanks, my grandson says. He can fly around and shoot other planes, or drive tanks and blow up other tanks. It’s like a big playground for war stuff.
• Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute: Now this one, this one’s a mouthful. Sounds like somethin’ from outer space. My grandson says it’s got robots and lasers and all that sci-fi stuff. I ain’t seen him play it much, though. Maybe it’s too complicated for him, or maybe it’s just plain weird.

He also talks about this Baldur’s Gate 3 game. Says it ain’t just shootin’, but you gotta think too. Like, where to move your people, who to attack, what spells to cast. Sounds like a lot of work to me. I’d rather just sit back and watch the explosions.

Then there are them games where you build stuff, you know? Like, cities and armies. My grandson says there’s this game, Crusader Kings III, where you’re a king and you gotta manage your kingdom and fight wars and stuff. Sounds like a headache if you ask me. But he seems to like it. Says it’s like playin’ God or somethin’. Kids these days, always wantin’ to be in charge.

There’s also this XCOM 2 game, where you’re fightin’ aliens. Aliens! Can you believe it? My grandson says they’re tryin’ to take over the Earth, and you gotta stop ’em. Sounds like a movie, don’t it? But he says it’s pretty tough, you gotta be smart and plan your moves carefully.

And then there are those games like Civilization VI and Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault. He plays them sometimes, building empires and commanding soldiers. It’s all too much for me, I tell ya. Give me a good ol’ soap opera any day.

Heard somethin’ about Age of Empires II might be comin’ to PS5. That’s an old one, even I remember hearin’ about that one back in the day. Guess they like bringin’ back the old stuff, huh? Maybe it’s good, maybe it ain’t. I ain’t gonna play it, that’s for sure.

So, yeah, that’s the lowdown on them war games. Lots of shootin’, lots of blowin’ stuff up, lots of thinkin’ too, if you’re into that kinda thing. Me? I’ll stick to watchin’ my stories on TV. But hey, if you like war games, the PS5 seems to have plenty of ’em. Just don’t go blowin’ up the house, ya hear?

To sum it up, the PS5 has a good bunch of war games. Whether you like fast action or slow-paced strategy, you’ll find something to play. Just remember, it’s all just a game. Don’t go gettin’ any crazy ideas.
