treasure island golf and games reviews
Well, let me tell ya ’bout this place, Treasure Island Golf and Games. Folks been talkin’, so I went and had a look-see myself.
First off, the mini golf. Now, I ain’t no spring chicken, and my back ain’t what it used to be, but even I could handle them little courses. They got a bunch of ’em, all different and whatnot. Some with them windmills that go ’round and ’round, some with those little tunnels you gotta hit the ball through. Kids were havin’ a ball, screamin’ and laughin’ and chasin’ after their balls all over the place. Made me smile, it did. It’s a good course and fun to play, that’s for sure. You know, somethin’ for the whole family. Not too hard, not too easy, just right, I’d say.
- They got different levels of difficulty
- Some holes are pretty tricky, keeps you on your toes
- The whole place is clean and well-kept, which is more than you can say for some places these days
Now, about the “games” part. They got this arcade inside, all lit up like a Christmas tree. All sorts of blinkin’ lights and noises. Loud, real loud, but the young’uns seemed to like it. Machines everywhere you look. Skeeball, air hockey, those claw machines where you try to grab a stuffed animal. You know the kind. Spent a few dollars myself, tryin’ to win a teddy bear for my grandkid, but no luck. Those machines are rigged, I tell ya! But hey, it’s all in good fun, right? The kids were havin’ a blast, that’s the important thing.
Is it worth it? Well, that depends on what you’re lookin’ for. If you got a bunch of kids you need to entertain for a few hours, then yeah, I’d say it’s worth it. It ain’t gonna break the bank, and it’ll keep ’em busy. And you might even have a little fun yourself, swattin’ them golf balls around. It’s a good way to spend an afternoon, get some sunshine and fresh air. Much better than sittin’ inside starin’ at that darn TV all day.
The prices weren’t too bad, neither. Not like some of them fancy places that charge you an arm and a leg just to walk in the door. They got deals and specials, so you can save a few pennies if you’re smart about it. And they got snacks and drinks too, in case you get hungry or thirsty. Nothin’ fancy, just your basic hot dogs and sodas and such, but it’ll tide you over.

I saw all sorts of folks there. Families, couples, even some old-timers like me. Everybody seemed to be havin’ a good time. Nobody was complainin’, least not that I heard. And the staff was friendly enough, helpin’ folks out and answerin’ questions. That’s always a good sign, in my book.
Now, I read some reviews online before I went, and some folks were grumbling about this or that. But you know how people are, always gotta find somethin’ to complain about. Me, I thought it was just fine. Like I said, it’s not the fanciest place in the world, but it’s clean, it’s fun, and it’s affordable. Best mini golf course ever? Well, I don’t know about that, but it’s pretty darn good. And that’s good enough for me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do with the family, or you just wanna get out of the house and have a little fun, give Treasure Island Golf and Games a try. You might just like it. And if you don’t, well, at least you can say you tried it, right? That’s what I always say. Life’s too short to sit around and do nothin’. Gotta get out there and experience things, even if they ain’t perfect. And this place? It’s a good experience, a good time. Go on now, go have some fun.
Oh, and one more thing. They got plenty of parking, so you don’t have to worry about that. And it’s easy to find, right off the main road. Can’t miss it, really. So, no excuses, get on out there and give it a whirl!
