the escape game las vegas reviews

Alright, so last weekend, my buddies and I hit up an escape game in Vegas. We figured, “Hey, why not try something different while we’re here?” We’d heard some good stuff about these escape rooms, so we were pretty pumped.

We picked this place called “The Escape Game” downtown. It had a bunch of different themed rooms, which was cool. We ended up choosing this one called “Prison Break” because it sounded the most intense.

  • First off, we booked our tickets online. Super easy, took like five minutes.
  • When we got there, the staff were really friendly. They explained the rules and how everything worked.
  • Then, they locked us in the room. It was designed to look just like a real prison cell. Pretty crazy, actually.

The whole point was to find clues and solve puzzles to escape within an hour. At first, we were just running around, not really knowing what to do. But then, we started to get the hang of it. We found some hidden keys, figured out some codes, and slowly started to make progress.

There were a few times when we got really stuck. Like, we spent a good 15 minutes trying to figure out this one lock. It was frustrating, but also kind of hilarious. Teamwork was key. We were yelling ideas back and forth, trying different combinations, and finally, someone cracked it. That feeling when you solve a tough puzzle is awesome, by the way.

We managed to escape with about 10 minutes to spare. It was a close call, but we did it!

Did we enjoy it?

Totally. It was way more fun than I expected. If you like puzzles and working together as a team, you’d probably love it too.

Would we do it again?

For sure. There are other rooms we want to try out. It’s a great way to spend an hour or two, and it’s definitely a memorable experience. Plus, the profit margins on these things are supposedly pretty good, so I guess it’s a win-win for everyone involved.
