strategy playstation games
Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk ’bout them strategy playstation games, ya hear? Not that I know much ’bout this fancy stuff, but my grandson, he’s always fiddlin’ with that Playstation thingy. So, I see things, ya know?
First off, they got this Civilization 6 game. Sounds mighty important, like buildin’ a whole dang country or somethin’. My grandson, he’s always mumblin’ ’bout districts and cities. Said it’s like stackin’ blocks, but way more complicated. I tell ya, these young folks and their complicated games! Back in my day, we just played with rocks and sticks. Heh, simpler times.
Then there’s a whole bunch of other games he plays. Says some are ’bout adventures and monsters. He mentioned somethin’ called Darksiders, sounds spooky. And Ratchet and Clank, like a couple of fellas gettin’ into trouble. Oh, and that Crash Bandicoot, that one’s got a funny name, like a clumsy critter runnin’ around. That’s what young people like isn’t it. Silly things.
He also plays this Infamous Second Son game. Don’t know what it’s ’bout, but it’s got a lot of flashy lights and explosions. And Death Stranding? Now that one’s just weird. My grandson says it’s ’bout deliverin’ packages in a messed-up world. Sounds like the postman’s job to me, but with more monsters and rain. Kids these days, huh?
- Devil May Cry 5 – Too much noise for my old ears, but the boy likes it.
- Bloodbourne – Vampires or somethin’. Always creepin’ me out when he plays this one at night.
- The Last Guardian – A big bird-dog thing. Actually looks kinda sweet, that one.
And then there’s these Horizon games. Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, he calls ’em. Girl with a bow and arrow fightin’ robot dinosaurs. Now that’s somethin’ I can kinda understand. Reminds me of huntin’ back in the day, ‘cept we didn’t have no robots, just good ol’ rabbits and squirrels. Those were the days.

He’s got Nioh 1 and 2 too. Samurai stuff. Katanas and demons. Lots of yellin’ and sword fightin’. Not my cup of tea, but the boy enjoys it. He also likes those Uncharted games. Treasure huntin’, he says. Like Indiana Jones, but with better graphics, whatever that means. He says the graphics are good on lots of games.
And there’s more! Concrete Genie, Knack 2, Shadow of the Beast… names just keep comin’. Final Fantasy VII Remake, that one’s got a long name, like those fancy folks from the city. He told me the story and I can’t understand any of it, too much magic or somethin’. And Ghost of Tsushima, more samurai stuff. Seems like they like their swords and fightin’ in these games.
Now, get this. My grandson was readin’ somethin’ online ’bout Age of Empires II comin’ to Playstation. That’s a game from way back, even I remember hearin’ ’bout it. Buildin’ empires and fightin’ wars. Guess they’re bringin’ the old stuff back for the young folks. Makes me wonder if they’ll ever bring back hopscotch.
And just the other day he was goin’ on and on about Baldur’s Gate 3. Said it just came out this summer in August. More fightin’ and magic, I reckon. Though he did mention somethin’ about choices and consequences which I’m not sure what that is in his game world.
So, there ya have it. A whole mess of strategy playstation games. Don’t ask me how to play ’em, I just watch the boy and try to make sense of it all. Seems like there’s a game for everythin’ these days. Maybe one day they’ll make a game ’bout farmin’, then I might actually give it a try.
Anyways, I’m done talkin’ ’bout these games. My old bones are tired. You youngsters go on and have your fun. Just try not to make too much noise, ya hear?
