strategy games playstation
Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk ’bout them strategy games on that PlayStation thingy, yeah, the one the kids are always playin’. I don’t know much ’bout these fancy gadgets, but I hear tell there’s some good games for thinkin’, not just shootin’ and jumpin’ around like them young’uns do.
So, first off, they say there’s this Civilization 6 game. Sounds real important, like buildin’ a whole dang country or somethin’. They say you gotta plan and think ahead, like plannin’ when to plant yer crops, only it’s with buildin’ cities and armies, I reckon. That’s kinda like when Grandpa used to plan out the farm work for the whole year, only without the tractors and such.
- Buildin’ stuff: Sounds like you gotta make houses and farms and whatnot. Gotta keep yer people happy, I guess.
- Fightin’ folks: Yep, there’s always some trouble brewin’, even in these games. Gotta have an army to protect yer stuff.
- Thinkin’ ahead: This ain’t no game where you just run around shootin’. You gotta plan things out, like plannin’ what to plant in the spring.
Then there’s this other one, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. Heard tell it’s comin’ to that PlayStation thingy. Sounds like more buildin’ and fightin’, but with them old-timey kings and knights and such. Remember them old stories Grandma used to tell ’bout knights and castles? Yeah, kinda like that I figure. Probably gotta collect wood and food and gold, just like in real life, only without the backache.
Now, some folks say Brigandine is a good one too. That one’s about fightin’ and plannin’ too, but it’s got more magic and stuff. Not sure how I feel about magic, seems kinda spooky. But if it helps you win, I guess it’s alright. It’s all about makin’ a strong army and beatin’ the other fellas. Sounds like a good old-fashioned scrap to me.
And then there’s these Baldur’s Gate 3 games. Folks keep talkin’ ’bout them. They call ’em “strategy RPGs.” Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds fancy. Heard it’s got a lot of story to it, like readin’ a big ol’ book, only you get to make the choices. Kinda like choosin’ which seeds to plant, only with more goblins and wizards, I bet. They say you gotta think real hard about what you do, ’cause it changes how the story goes. That sounds interestin’, I guess.

Strategy games, they call ’em. Guess it’s all about thinkin’ and plannin’, not just shootin’ everything in sight. Maybe that’s why them young’uns play ’em so much. They need somethin’ to work their brains a little, not just their thumbs. It’s good to use your head, that’s what I always say. Just like plannin’ for winter, gotta think ahead and make sure you got enough firewood and canned peaches.
So, if you got one of them PlayStation things, and you’re tired of just jumpin’ and shootin’, maybe try one of these strategy games. Might surprise ya. Might even learn ya somethin’. Who knows, maybe you’ll even start plannin’ yer own garden a little better after playin’ them. Just remember, thinkin’ ain’t a bad thing. Sometimes it’s the best weapon you got.
Whether you like them big fancy games or them little ones, there’s somethin’ for everyone on that PlayStation, seems like. Just gotta find what suits yer fancy. And remember, havin’ a little fun ain’t gonna hurt nobody. Just don’t forget to do yer chores!
And that’s all I gotta say ’bout that. Go on now, git!
