roblox chts are getting tagged

Okay, so I was messing around in Roblox today, just trying to have some fun with my buddies. We were in this one game, you know, just doing the usual, and then we noticed something weird happening with the chat.

We started typing stuff, normal conversation, you know, like, “Hey, what’s up?” or “Let’s go over there!”. But then some of our messages started showing up with these hashtag things – like, “####” instead of what we actually typed. We were so confused!

What’s getting Tagged?

• Basic Words: We tested it out. Simple words started getting tagged. Like, i said “hello”.
• Long chats:I try to input long sentence, and it tagged too!.
• Numbers: It also effect the numbers.

At first, I thought it was just a glitch. Maybe the server was acting up, you know? So I restarted Roblox, rejoined the game, the whole nine yards. But nope, still happening. Then, one of my friends figured it was something with Roblox’s chat filter.

So, we did some experimenting. We started typing out different words and phrases, trying to see what would get tagged and what wouldn’t. It was kind of random! Some totally normal words were getting blocked, while other, kind of weird ones, were going through just fine. It was like playing a guessing game.

I’m still not totally sure what caused the issue, but it definitely made me realize how much Roblox is trying to keep things, you know, “clean,” I guess. And I gotta remember that when I’m chatting in-game.
