So, I stumbled upon this hilarious meme going around, this “Gedagedigedagedago” thing, featuring this character they call Chicken Nugget. Apparently, he’s like the star of these memes. And the face, oh man, it’s a Roblox man’s face. I thought, “Why not bring this goofy guy into Roblox for real?”

Getting Started

First things first, I launched Roblox Studio. You know, that place where all the Roblox game-making magic happens. I started with a blank canvas, an empty baseplate, ready to be molded into something…nuggety.

Modeling the Nugget

Next up, I started crafting the main character, our beloved Chicken Nugget. Now, I’m no 3D modeling pro, but I do ok. I used simple shapes, spheres, cylinders – you get the idea, put a Roblox man’s face on it. I tweaked and twisted them around until I got something that resembled a, well, a chicken nugget. A weird, abstract one, but a nugget nonetheless. I have seen some news before that a chicken nugget sold for nearly $100k in 2021 because it shaped like an among-us character. I think that’s crazy. So, I make the Roblox Chicken Nugget’s shape a bit weird, too. I also make it look like a McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets. You know, in the United States, they come in packs of 4, 6, 10, 20 and 50. I think this is a cool idea. It looks like a real product from McDonald’s.

Adding the Quirk

Chicken Nugget isn’t just about looks, it’s about that “Gedagedigedagedago” energy. So I get into the scripting part. I wanted him to move in a funny way, maybe a little bouncy, a little unpredictable. I wrote some Lua scripts, nothing too fancy. Just enough to make him hop around, maybe spin a bit when you click him. It’s all about capturing that meme essence, you know?

Final Touches

After a bunch of trial and error, I got the movement down. Then, I added some final touches. A bit of color here, a funny sound effect there. It’s these little things that bring a character to life. I even threw in a little “Gedagedigedagedago” sound bite that plays randomly. You know, for the fans.

Sharing with the World

Finally, I published my creation to Roblox. It felt good to see Chicken Nugget out there, in the wild, ready to spread some joy and maybe a few laughs. I shared it with some friends, and they got a kick out of it. It’s not every day you see a meme turned into a Roblox character, right?
