Hey there, young’uns! Let me tell ya ’bout them PS5 war strategy games, the kind that make you think real hard, ya know? Not like them shooty-bang-bang games, no sir. These are for the smarty-pants types, the ones who like to plan things out.

What are these war strategy games anyway? Well, lemme tell ya. They’re like, uh, games where you gotta be a general, a boss man, tellin’ folks what to do. You gotta move your little army guys around, fight the other army guys, and try to win. It ain’t easy, I tell ya. You gotta use your noggin.

Some folks say the computer is the best place for these kinds of games, but PS5 got some good ones too, if you know where to look. Don’t listen to them city slickers who say otherwise. I seen some mighty fine games on that there PS5, real brain teasers they are.

Now, one game they talk about a lot is this “Baldur’s Gate 3.” I ain’t played it myself, but the youngsters, they go crazy for it. Somethin’ about adventures and choices and all that. Sounds complicated to me, but they say it’s good. You get to be the boss, tell your little fellas what to do, fight monsters and such.

• Thinkin’ is key! These games ain’t about fast fingers, no siree. It’s about plannin’ ahead, thinkin’ two, three steps ahead of the other guy.
• Lots of different kinds. Some are about big armies clashin’, some are about smaller groups sneakin’ around. You gotta find the kind you like.
• Patience, young’un! You ain’t gonna win these games overnight. It takes time, practice, and a whole lotta thinkin’.

Then there’s this “Tactics Ogre: Reborn.” Now that sounds like a game I could get behind! Tactics, see? That means plannin’, strategizin’. You gotta move your little soldiers around, fightin’ battles and such. Reminds me of checkers, but way fancier. They say it’s all about reborn and somethin’ somethin’, guess you fight and come back stronger maybe? Sounds like hard work to me.

Some other games they mention… “Crusader Kings III,” that sounds like somethin’ with them knights and castles and such. I seen a movie about that once. And then there’s “XCOM 2,” where you fight aliens, or so I hear. Blast them little green men, I say! And somethin’ somethin’ “Total War”, sounds like lots of fightin’, huh? Those city folks sure do come up with some funny names.

Why play these strategy games, you ask? Well, they make you use your brain, that’s for sure. Keeps you sharp, keeps you thinkin’. And it’s satisfying to win, you know? To outsmart the other guy, to see your plan come together. It’s like bakin’ a cake, but instead of flour and sugar, you’re usin’ soldiers and tanks, or maybe magic spells, depends on the game.

Now, I heard some folks say there ain’t enough of these games on PS5. They say you gotta go to the computer for the real good stuff. But I say, pshaw! There’s plenty of good fightin’ and plannin’ to be done right there on your PS5. You just gotta look a little harder, that’s all. Don’t let them fancy computer folks tell you different.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a game that’ll make you think, that’ll challenge your brain, then give these PS5 war strategy games a try. They ain’t for everyone, that’s for sure. But if you got the patience and the smarts, you just might find yourself havin’ a whole lotta fun.
