Well, howdy there, y’all! Let’s yak a bit ’bout them PS5 strategy games, ya hear? Folks say PC’s the place to be for this stuff, but us console folks, we ain’t left out in the cold, no sirree! We got plenty of good stuff to play on that PS5 of ours, and I’m here to tell ya ’bout it.

Now, 2023’s been a real humdinger of a year, chaotic some might say. But that don’t mean we ain’t got some mighty fine strategy games to keep us busy. Some folks like them shootin’ games and them racin’ games, but me, I like somethin’ that gets my brain a-workin’. Somethin’ that makes me think and plan, ya know?

Top Strategy Games on PS5 You Gotta Try

Baldur’s Gate 3: Now, this here game, it’s a real doozy. Folks call it a “masterclass” in strategy RPGs. I ain’t sure what all that means, but I know it’s good! You get to make your own fella and go on a big adventure. Lots of choosin’ and plannin’, just the way I like it.
Crusader Kings III: This one’s about kings and queens and all that fancy stuff. You gotta be smart and tricky to keep your kingdom in one piece. Reminds me of them soap operas on TV, all that drama and intrigue!
XCOM 2: Now, this here’s about fightin’ off them aliens. You gotta build up your squad and plan your attacks just right, or them aliens gonna get ya. It’s a tough one, but it’s mighty satisfyin’ when you win.
Civilization VI: This one’s a long one, but it’s a good one. You start with nothin’ and you gotta build up a whole darn civilization, from the ground up. You gotta manage your resources and your people, and make sure nobody tries to mess with ya. It’s kinda like runnin’ a farm, but on a much bigger scale.
Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault: This game is all about World War II and you gotta be a smart leader to win.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2: A classic strategy game where you gotta build your base and outsmart your enemy.

Them’s just a few of the good ones, mind you. There’s plenty more where them came from. And don’t you forget them sports games neither! Some folks say them PES and FIFA games, they’re strategy games too. You gotta think about your plays and your players, and try to outsmart the other team. It ain’t just about runnin’ and kickin’, ya know?

What’s Comin’ Down the Pike?

Now, let’s talk about what’s comin’ out soon. There’s this here game called Fantasian Neo Dimension comin’ out in December 2024. It’s gonna be on PS5, and PS4, and all them other fancy consoles too. And then there’s another one called Marvel Rivals, comin’ out the same time. That one’s all about them superheroes, which ain’t really my cup of tea, but some folks like that kinda stuff.

So, there you have it, folks. A little rundown of them PS5 strategy games. If you like thinkin’ and plannin’, then you oughta give these games a try. They ain’t for everyone, mind you. Some folks just wanna shoot things and blow things up. But me, I like a game that gets my gears turnin’. It keeps my mind sharp, ya know?
