peach game review
So, I grabbed this game called “Princess Peach: Showtime!” last weekend. Thought it would be a fun, chill game, you know, something easy to wind down with. I started playing on a Saturday afternoon, kind of curious about how they’d handle a game focused on Princess Peach.
First off, I jumped straight into the game without really looking up anything about it. Dived right in, if you will. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, setting the scene in this theater-themed world. It was kind of neat, with all these different stages or “plays” you could enter.
I spent the first couple of hours just getting used to the controls and the whole vibe of the game. Explored a few different stages, each with its own little twist. The game’s all about Peach taking on these different roles, like a detective or a ninja, which was pretty cool. It kept things fresh, you know?
By Sunday, I was really getting into the swing of things. Unlocked a bunch more of these roles and started tackling some of the more challenging stages. I noticed that each role had its own special abilities, so I had to figure out which one worked best for different situations. It wasn’t just button-mashing; there was some actual strategy involved.
I also started collecting these things called “Sparkle Gems.” They were scattered all over the place, and finding them became a bit of an obsession. It was like a treasure hunt within each stage. I spent a good chunk of Sunday evening just replaying stages, trying to find all the gems I’d missed.

Finished up the main storyline by Monday night. It took me about, I’d say, 7 or 8 hours in total? Maybe a bit longer because I was also going back to collect stuff and just mess around. Honestly, it was a nice change of pace from the usual games I play.
Some thoughts after finishing
- The whole theater setting was a nice touch. Gave the game a unique feel.
- Switching between Peach’s roles kept the gameplay interesting.
- Collecting gems added an extra layer of fun, even after beating the main story.
It’s definitely a game I’d recommend if you’re looking for something light and enjoyable. Plus, it’s kind of cool to see Peach in the spotlight like this. I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. I think it was good for my gaming experience.
