olympic game farm reviews
Alright, let’s talk about this Olympic Game Farm, you know, the one they got up there in Sequim. I heard folks sayin’ all sorts of things, so I figured, why not take a look myself and tell ya what it’s really like.
First off, this ain’t your regular zoo, no sir. It’s more like a drive-through thing, which is kinda neat if you don’t wanna walk around too much. You just drive your car through this big ol’ place, and the animals, they just come right up to ya! I mean, right up to your window! Bears, deer, elk, all sorts of critters. You can even feed ‘em bread, which the kids, they love that. They sell the bread there, so you don’t gotta bring your own.
Now, some folks, they say it’s the best thing since sliced bread. They say it’s fun for the whole family, you get to see the animals up close and personal, and it’s a good way to spend an afternoon. They talk about how the bears are so cute, and the deer are so friendly, and how it’s just a real hoot. Lots of folks, they give it four or five stars, sayin’ it’s a must-see if you’re in the area. They like how you can take pictures, and the kids, they get a real kick out of it.
But, and this is a big but, some folks, they ain’t so happy. They say it’s kinda run down, and the animals, well, they don’t look too happy neither. They say the place is dirty, and the animals are begging for food, and it just ain’t right. Some folks, they say it’s too expensive for what you get, and that the animals are too crowded. They complain that the whole thing is just a big tourist trap, and that the animals are just there to make money.
I gotta say, I seen both sides of it. On the one hand, yeah, it’s pretty cool to see a bear right outside your car window. And the kids, they do love it. It’s somethin’ different, that’s for sure. But on the other hand, I did see some things that made me scratch my head. Some of them animals, they did look kinda skinny, and there was a lot of trash around. And it ain’t cheap, that’s for sure. You gotta pay to get in, and then you gotta pay for the bread, and before you know it, you’ve spent a pretty penny.

- The Good:
- You get to see animals up close.
- It’s a fun experience for kids.
- It’s something different from your average zoo.
- The Bad:
- Some folks say it’s run down and dirty.
- The animals might not be in the best condition.
- It can be expensive.
- The Ugly:
- Some say it’s a tourist trap, plain and simple.
Now, this place, it used to be somethin’ else entirely. Way back when, they called it Disney’s Wild Animal Ranch. Yep, that Disney! They used to keep their animal actors here, for the movies and such. But then, Disney, they moved on, and the place, it changed hands. Now it’s this Olympic Game Farm, and it ain’t quite as fancy as it used to be, that’s for sure. But it’s still got the animals, and that’s what draws the crowds, I guess.
So, what’s the bottom line? Well, it ain’t perfect, that’s for sure. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ different to do, and you don’t mind spendin’ a few bucks, and you wanna see some animals up close, then it might be worth a visit. Just don’t expect no fancy-schmancy Disney magic, alright? It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s got its charms. Just go in with your eyes open, and make up your own mind.
And one more thing, if you do go, bring cash. They ain’t always too keen on them credit cards, you know?
