Nintendo Store App Released On Mobile, Shows Your Play Activity Dating Back To 3DS
There is now an easier way to find sales and download games for Switch and Switch 2 on your mobile device. Nintendo has released the Nintendo Store app for iOS and Android, and one of the coolest features relates to play activity. Using this new app allows you to see how long you spent in games dating back to the 3DS era.
Other features of the Nintendo Store app include seeing the latest news from the company and viewing My Nintendo rewards. However, none of the actual purchases happen in-app, as you’ll be taken to the website page to actually buy a Switch game or Switch 2 upgrade pack, for instance.

The Nintendo Store app release comes on the heels of the company’s latest financial report. The biggest news from the briefing is that Switch 2 has already sold 10 million hardware units as of September 30. That means the Switch 2 bundle with Pokemon Legends: Z-A isn’t included in the data, which obviously should push that number even higher.
Other info shared by Nintendo this week is a focus on steadily releasing new movies on the company’s game properties. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to premiere on April 3, while the live-action Legend of Zelda movie is slated to hit theaters in 2027.
In the nearer future, Nintendo has started ramping up marketing for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. A new trailer showcased Samus doing flips and even an Akira slide, as the Switch and Switch 2 game is planned to launch December 4.
