mafia 3 game review
Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this Mafia 3 game, like it is. No fancy words, just plain talk.
So, this game, right? It’s all about this fella, Clay, comin’ back home after bein’ gone a while. And boy, he ain’t happy. Folks done him wrong, real wrong, and he’s out for some payback. The story starts off with a bang, a real fast-paced thing with a bank robbery and all. Gets ya hooked right away, you know?
Now, the game takes place in this city called New Bordeaux. It’s supposed to be like New Orleans back in the 60s. Lots of drivin’ around, just like them Grand Theft Auto games. You go around, get missions from different folks, do this and that. It’s a big open world, lots of places to see and things to do.
This Clay, he’s got a lot of hate in his heart. He’s gotta deal with all sorts of bad people, buildin’ his own little empire, bit by bit. The game lets you choose how you wanna get your revenge, which is kinda neat. You can be sneaky or you can go in guns blazin’. Your choice.
The story, that’s the real good part. It’s all about revenge, hate, and how people get treated different. It’s a sad story in a way, but it keeps you wantin’ to see what happens next. They say it’s cinematic, which I guess means it’s like a movie. And yeah, I can see that. It’s got that feel to it, you know?

- The Good Stuff: The story is really somethin’. It grabs ya and don’t let go. And that city, New Bordeaux, it’s real pretty to look at. They got all them old cars and the music, it’s all from the 60s, makes you feel like you’re really there.
- The Not-So-Good Stuff: Now, I ain’t gonna lie, this game ain’t perfect. Some things you gotta do over and over, which gets a little borin’. And sometimes, the game just acts up, glitches and stuff. Nothin’ too bad, but it can be a pain.
Some folks say this Mafia 3 game ain’t as good as the other Mafia games. But I ain’t played them, so I can’t say. They say this one’s kinda connected to the others, but you don’t need to play them to understand what’s goin’ on here. This one stands on its own pretty good.
Now, they say it takes about 22 hours to finish the main story, but if you wanna do everything, see everything, it’ll take ya a whole lot longer. More like 50 hours or so. That’s a lot of time, but if you like the game, you won’t mind. I heard some folks sayin’ they liked it more than Mafia 2 even. So, there ya go.
Overall, I’d say this Mafia 3 game is worth a look-see. If you like stories ‘bout revenge and fightin’ the bad guys, and you don’t mind a little bit of drivin’ around and shootin’ folks, then you’ll probably like it just fine. It ain’t perfect, but it’s got heart. And that’s what matters, ain’t it?
And that soundtrack, gotta mention it again. Them old songs, they really set the mood. Makes you feel like you stepped back in time. So, yeah, go on and give it a try. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if you get hooked!
I reckon that’s all I gotta say ‘bout this game. Now, go on and do somethin’ useful. And don’t forget to call your grandma!
