Alright, folks, let’s talk about something that’s been bugging me for a while – playing strategy games on my Mac. I mean, I love my Mac, it is sleek, it is fast, but let’s be honest, it is not exactly known as a gaming powerhouse, right?

So, I started digging around, trying to figure out what’s the deal with strategy games on macOS. Turns out, it is kind of a mixed bag. You see, some folks say that Macs just aren’t cut out for serious gaming. And I get it, they are not exactly built with high-end gaming in mind. I do find a game called “Alien: Isolation – The Collection,” made by a company called Feral. It looked pretty cool, and it is supposed to be a good action game, so maybe there is hope.

Then I started to think, why are there so few really good strategy games on Mac? I mean, I found a ton of games, it says there are over 60,000, but most of them just did not grab me. From what I have gathered, a lot of newer gamers are into these super fast-paced, action-packed games. You know, the ones where you just react and don’t have to think too much. Strategy games, on the other hand, they are a bit slower. You have got to plan, you have got to think about your moves, and sometimes, you have got to wait, these games are not for everyone. They need you to use your brain, come up with plans, and figure out complex orders.

But I am not giving up. I am determined to find some decent strategy games that I can enjoy on my Mac. I have heard that there are real-time strategy games and even these “grand strategy” games out there. They sound interesting, but I need to find some that actually work well on my machine.

Here is what I am going to do. I am going to start trying out some of these games. I will start with some of the more popular ones, see how they run on my Mac, and see if they are actually any fun. I will keep track of everything – how well the game runs, how much I enjoy it, and whether it is worth the time and money.
