klee genshin impact cosplay

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to do a Klee cosplay from Genshin Impact for a while now, and I finally took the plunge! Let me tell you, it was a journey, but totally worth it in the end.

First, I started by gathering all my materials. This was a bit of a scavenger hunt, honestly. I hit up a bunch of different fabric stores to find just the right shades of red and brown. You wouldn’t believe how many different kinds of red fabric there are! I finally settled on a nice, sturdy cotton for the main shirt and skirt. It needed to be something that could hold its shape, you know?

Finding the Right Stuff

Then came the accessories. Oh boy, the accessories. Klee’s got a lot going on, from her little hat to her backpack and all those little gold details. I spent hours online, just browsing through different shops and comparing prices. Eventually, I found some decent-looking gloves and a hat that was pretty close to Klee’s. I figured I could modify them a bit to make them perfect.

  • Fabric: Red and brown cotton, some white for the trim.
  • Accessories: Gloves, hat, some gold trim thingies, a small bag for the backpack.
  • Pants: Oh, and some puffy orange fabric for those pumpkin pants.

Once I had everything, I got down to sewing. Now, I’m not a professional seamstress or anything, but I can handle a sewing machine. It took a lot of trial and error, and a few seam-ripper moments, but I eventually managed to put together the shirt and skirt.

The pumpkin pants were a whole other challenge. I had to figure out how to make them puffy and round without looking too ridiculous. I ended up using a bunch of stuffing and some elastic to give them that signature Klee look. They’re definitely not perfect, but I think they turned out pretty cute.

Putting It All Together

The final step was adding all the little details. I hand-stitched some gold trim onto the shirt and skirt, and I even managed to find some little clover-shaped buttons that were perfect for Klee’s outfit. I also modified the hat, adding some extra details to make it look more like hers. And the backpack, well, I just stuffed a small bag with some fabric scraps and added a strap. Voila!

It took me a few weeks of working on it off and on, but I finally finished my Klee cosplay! It was a lot of work, but seeing it all come together was so satisfying. I wore it to a convention recently, and I got so many compliments. It was definitely a labor of love, and I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. I even managed to snag some photos that I’m pretty happy with. They really captured the whole vibe I was going for. It wasn’t easy, but hey, nothing good comes easy, right? And who knows, maybe I’ll even try another Genshin Impact cosplay in the future. We’ll see!
