ipad strategy games

You know, I was sittin’ there thinkin’ one day, how folks nowadays spend all their time on them fancy iPads. They’re always playin’ them strategy games, and I ain’t gonna lie, it seems like a good way to pass the time. So, I thought to myself, “Why not share a little somethin’ about them games?” I mean, there’s so many out there, it’s hard to know where to start. But I’ll tell you, there’s some mighty fine ones for iPad if you like games that make you think and plan, not just smash buttons like some of them fast-paced ones. So here we go, here’s a few I reckon you might like to try.

Whiteout Survival is a game I heard a lot about. Now, it ain’t exactly the kind of thing you’d expect, but it’ll sure get your brain workin’. It’s a survival game, but there’s a big ol’ strategy element in there. You gotta build up your base, gather resources, and keep your people alive in a harsh, snowy world. You gotta keep your wits about you or you’ll freeze to death before you even know it!

Then there’s Bloons TD 6, which is a tower defense game. Now, I ain’t too good at these, but folks say it’s real fun. You gotta place them towers in the right spots to stop the balloons from gettin’ past. It’s all about makin’ the right moves at the right time. If you like thinkin’ ahead and makin’ plans, this one’ll keep ya busy for sure.

If you’ve ever played a game called Settlers, and you’re lookin’ for somethin’ like it, I’ve got a few suggestions for you. The Civilization VI is one of ’em. You build up your own little empire and make decisions that’ll affect your people for generations. You gotta manage everything—economy, military, diplomacy, and more. It’s a real thinker, and if you like them long, deep games, this one might just suck ya in for hours.

Rome: Total War is another one where you gotta plan your every move. You get to control whole armies, take over lands, and lead your people to glory. It’s a little like settin’ up a big ol’ chess game, only you got more than one piece movin’ at a time! You’ll need to make some hard choices, but that’s what makes it fun.

Now, if you’re in the mood for somethin’ where you can feel like a real commander, there’s Top War. It’s a free game where you can become the strongest commander out there. You get to merge your troops and buildings to make ‘em stronger. It’s all about strategizin’ and combin’ the right units to make your army unstoppable. Ain’t that somethin’?

XCOM 2 is another one I’ve heard people talk about. It’s a real tactical game where you gotta outthink your enemies. You control a group of soldiers, and every move matters. One wrong step, and your soldiers could be done for. You gotta plan your attacks, set up your defenses, and make sure you’re always one step ahead. It’s tough, but that’s what makes it so good!

If you want somethin’ a little more intense, Crusader Kings III might be up your alley. You take control of a dynasty, and your goal is to make it last through the generations. You gotta manage your lands, make alliances, and sometimes, you gotta stab folks in the back to get ahead. It’s all about the power, baby, and how far you’re willing to go to keep it.

Now, if you’re into outer space stuff, then you might like Offworld Trading Company. This one ain’t about shootin’ aliens; it’s about makin’ money. You get to build up a company on Mars, trading resources and dealin’ with other companies. It’s a game of economics and strategy, so if you think you can outsmart the competition, this one’s for you.

Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is another one that takes place in space. It’s a real-time strategy game, but this one’s got a story. You control a fleet of ships, and you gotta navigate through a desert planet, fightin’ off enemies and makin’ tough decisions. It’s got some real good graphics, too, if you’re into that sort of thing.

If you’re the type to get into deep strategy games, I reckon you might like Total War: Warhammer II. It’s got a big ol’ fantasy world with elves, dwarves, and orcs all fightin’ for control. You’ll need to manage armies, fight big battles, and outsmart your enemies. It’s like playin’ a big game of chess with a bunch of different pieces, and they all got special powers!

And last but not least, there’s the ol’ classic Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. It’s a real-time strategy game where you gotta build bases, collect resources, and wage war against your enemies. It’s fast-paced, but you still gotta think on your feet if you want to win.

So there you go, folks. A little rundown of some of the best strategy games for iPad. Whether you like buildin’ up cities, fightin’ wars, or makin’ deals, there’s somethin’ for everyone. These games ain’t for the faint of heart though—you’ll need to put your brain to work, but if you like a good challenge, I reckon you’ll enjoy every minute of it.
