Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this Genshin Impact Smash or Pass thingy. Don’t rightly know what all them fancy words mean, but from what I gather, it’s about whether you think them game characters are lookers or not. Sounds silly, but the youngsters seem to like it, so here we go.

First off, there’s this Lumine gal. She’s the main character, I think. Real pretty, with long blonde hair and all. Kinda reminds me of that doll my granddaughter used to have. So yeah, I’d say SMASH for her. She seems nice enough.

Then there’s her brother, Aether. Same deal, long hair, but he’s a fella. Looks strong, like he could chop wood all day. Not my type, mind you, but he ain’t ugly. So, uh, I guess PASS on him. No offense, son.

• Amber: This girl’s got fire! And I ain’t just talkin’ ’bout her powers. She’s all energetic and bouncy, like a little firecracker. Real cute too. SMASH for sure.
• Kaeya: Now this one’s a tricky one. He’s got that sly look, like he’s always up to somethin’. But he’s also got that charm, you know? Makes you wonder what’s under that eyepatch. Hmmm… Gonna go with SMASH, but I’m keepin’ an eye on him.
• Lisa: Oh my, this lady! She’s got them fancy clothes and that knowing smile. Bit older than the others, but she’s got a certain… elegance. Reminds me of that city woman who came to the village once. Yeah, SMASH for Lisa. She seems like she knows a thing or two.
• Barbara: Sweet as pie, this one. Singin’ and dancin’, always tryin’ to help folks. A bit too goody-goody for my taste, if I’m bein’ honest. But she’s got a good heart. PASS, but I’d take her to church on Sundays.

Then there’s a whole bunch of other characters. Too many to remember, honestly. There’s this Diluc fella, all serious and broodin’. Looks like he needs a good meal and a hug. PASS on him, he’s too gloomy for me. And that Venti fella, always playin’ his flute. Seems a bit flighty, but he’s got a nice smile. PASS too, not much for musicians, give me a strong farmer any day. And this Zhongli fella, real calm and collected. Talks like he knows everything. PASS, seems too old and stuck up for his own good. And Raiden Shogun? She’s got a sword and a mean glare. PASS, I don’t mess with ladies who look like they could chop your head off with one swing.

There’s also them younger ones, like Klee and Qiqi. They’re just kids, so obviously, PASS on them. Don’t be gettin’ no funny ideas now! They remind me of my own grand kids back when they were still in diapers, so cute you could just eat em up. Makes me want to bake a pie for them.

This Genshin Impact game, it’s got all sorts of characters, that’s for sure. Some are pretty, some are strong, some are just plain weird. But it’s all in good fun, I guess. Like pickin’ flowers, some you like, some you don’t. Just don’t go takin’ it too serious now, it’s just a game, y’hear?

So, overall, I’d say this Genshin Smash or Pass thing is just a way for folks to say who they like and who they don’t. It’s all make-believe anyway. But if I had to pick a favorite, I’d go with Lumine. She seems like a sweet girl who knows how to take care of herself and that’s always a good thing. Kinda reminds me of myself when I was younger, before my knees started achin’ so bad.
