genshin impact photo event

Okay, so, I jumped into this Genshin Impact photo event thing today. I gotta say, it was pretty fun. I’m not much of a photographer in real life, but hey, in a game, why not?

First off, I logged into the game and checked out the event details. It’s all about snapping pics in different locations with specific characters and certain elements. Sounds simple enough, right? I grabbed my go-to team – you know, the usual suspects – and started teleporting around.

Figuring Out the Details

The first spot I hit up was in Mondstadt. The instructions were to get a shot with a Anemo character. Easy peasy, I’ve got Venti in my team. I found this nice little spot with some flowers and stuff, positioned Venti, and started playing around with the camera angles.

  • Switched to the in-game camera feature.
  • Adjusted the zoom and angle a few times.
  • Made sure Venti was doing something cool, like using his skill.
  • Snapped the photo!

I did this a few more times in different locations, each with its own little challenge. Like, in Liyue, I had to get a shot with a Geo character while they were using their elemental burst. I used Zhongli, and let me tell you, timing that perfect shot with his meteor thing was a bit tricky. Took me a few tries, but I finally got it.

Getting Creative

Then, I got to Inazuma, and this is where I started getting a little more creative. The requirement was to have a Pyro character in the frame. I switched to Yoimiya. I found this awesome spot with some cherry blossom trees. I waited until she used her elemental burst, the fireworks looked so cool in the shot. It took a few attempts to get the timing right, but when I did, wow, it was beautiful.

After Inazuma, I went to Sumeru. The requirement was a Dendro character. I used Nahida. I found a neat spot with some glowing plants. I waited until she used her skill and snapped a shot of her surrounded by her little camera thing. It looked pretty cool.

Wrapping Up

By the end of it, I had a whole bunch of photos. Some were okay, some were pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. I submitted my entries, and now it’s just a waiting game to see if I snag any rewards.

Overall, it was a nice change of pace from the usual grind. I got to explore some areas I hadn’t visited in a while and mess around with the game’s photo mode, which I really should use more often. If you’re playing Genshin, you should totally check out this event. It’s a fun little thing to do, and you might even surprise yourself with your photography skills!
