genshin impact fanfiction watching the show
Well now, lemme tell ya ’bout this Genshin Impact thingy. It’s like them picture shows them young’uns watch, but all written down. Fan-somethin’, they call it. Anyways, it’s about this here world called Teyvat, a real fancy name if ya ask me. And all sorts of folks livin’ in it.
So, this story starts with Paimon, this little floaty thing, and Lumine, a gal who’s lookin’ for her brother. They’re in the city, lookin’ for the big boss lady, the Acting Grand Master, Jean. Seems important, ya know? City folk and their important stuff. Always runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Then, bam! Things get all crazy. Jean’s watchin’, and poof! Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, and that Lumine girl, they all just disappear! Like they got sucked up by a big orange light. Scared the bejesus outta Jean, I bet. I’d a been screamin’ my head off, that’s for sure. City folk ain’t used to nothin’ disappearin’ like that. Out here in the country, things disappear all the time. Cows wander off, tools get misplaced… ya get used to it.
Now, this fan story, it’s like they’re watchin’ themselves on a picture show. Weird, huh? Imagine watchin’ yourself make a fool outta yourself. Wouldn’t that be somethin’? They call it “Genshin cast reacts,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, just like “Acting Grand Master.” These city folks and their fancy words.
This one story is about Furina from Fontaine. They say she’s got the strongest will in all of Teyvat. Willpower? Hmph, try workin’ a farm from sunup to sundown. That’ll show ya willpower. But I guess city folk got their own kinds of will, dealin’ with all them fancy problems and whatnot.
So, they’re watchin’ her, I guess. Seein’ what she does and how she does it. Kinda like watchin’ your neighbor’s chickens to see if they’re layin’ eggs. But with more magic and less cluckin’. They call it a “new host” and “new type of viewing”. Sounds complicated. Why can’t they just say they’re watchin’ a story?
And there’s a whole bunch of these stories, see? Thousands of ‘em! All about Genshin Impact. On the internet, they say. That internet thing, it’s like a big ol’ town square where everyone shouts at once. Hard to make sense of it all, if ya ask me. But these young’uns, they seem to like it.
Folks are writin’ about the characters watchin’ themselves. Like, they’re sittin’ down and watchin’ their own adventures. Can you imagine? Sittin’ down and watchin’ yourself plow a field? I’d rather be eatin’ a good meal! But these Genshin folks, they’re watchin’ themselves fight monsters and do all sorts of magical stuff.
This one fella, after he done been to Fontaine and thought about all the things that happened, well, he’s probably writin’ one of these stories too. Fontaine, that’s a fancy place, all water and whatnot. Reminds me of the old well back home. Always had good water, that well did.
They got this game, this Genshin Impact, and it’s a big open world, they say. Lots of places to go and things to see. Sounds like a lot of walkin’ to me. My old bones ain’t up for that much walkin’ anymore. But these young folks, they like runnin’ around, explorin’ and whatnot.
And folks are sharin’ these stories on somethin’ called Wattpad. Another fancy name. Sounds like somethin’ you’d put in a lamp. But it’s where all these stories go, I guess. A big ol’ book for everyone to read. Just like the good ol’ days when we’d share stories around the fire, but now it’s all lit up with that electricity stuff.
So, that’s the gist of it, this Genshin Impact fanfiction thing. Folks writin’ stories about folks watchin’ stories. Sounds complicated, but it’s just folks tellin’ tales, like we always done. Just with more magic and less cow-tippin’. And that’s all there is to it, plain and simple.
