genshin impact characters model
Okay, so I got into this whole “Genshin Impact” character model thing, and let me tell you, it’s been quite a journey. I’ve always been curious about how these cool characters in the game are made, like how they make them look so good, and how they move in the game world.
First off, I started digging around to see what I could find about these models. I found out that there’s basically five types: tall male, tall female, medium male, medium female, and short female. And get this – there are no short male characters! Each type is unique in the way that they move, like how they sprint, or jump, or whatever.
- The tall guys, for example, they’re the fastest when it comes to sprinting long distances.
- And the medium males, they’re the best at jumping.
So I started thinking, where do people get these 3D models? I mean, there are so many fan-made stuff out there, so somebody’s gotta be getting them from somewhere, right? Turns out, Hoyoverse, the company that made “Genshin Impact,” actually uploads these models to their official BiliBili websites! I was pretty shocked when I found out. Cosplayers use them for reference, which is pretty smart if you ask me.
I also looked into some of the most popular characters. Like, everyone loves Baal/Raiden Shogun, who’s a god, also very pretty and beautiful.
Then I got into the technical stuff. There are these things called “Character EXP Materials” and “Character Ascension Materials” that are tied to the models. I didn’t dig too deep into that, but it seems like a whole other world. And there’s this category page where you can see characters by their model type, which is kind of neat. There were names like Mavuika, Citlali, Arlecchino, and Neuvillette, among others, but that was a lot to take in at once.

I tried to figure out how people were filtering through all this. Someone mentioned something about filtering by “avatar_” for character models, but I’m not sure what that means, exactly. It’s all kind of confusing, but it’s also super interesting to see how it all comes together.
Honestly, I’m just scratching the surface here. There’s so much more to learn about these “Genshin Impact” character models. I was thinking about trying to make my own little project with these models. That’d be cool, right? I don’t know if I’m quite there yet, but it’s definitely something I’m thinking about. Maybe one day I’ll even figure out how to use them to make something cool. Who knows?
