genshin impact characters maker
Alright, so I tried making my own Genshin Impact character, and let me tell you, it was quite the journey! I started by searching for “genshin oc picrew” on Google because I heard this website, Picrew, is where the magic happens. First one on the results page, I clicked, agreed to their terms and I am ready to make my oc.
When I started making it, I was thinking of some specific features I want for my character. So I gave it a try on Picrew, clicking the first link and accepting their terms. I was super excited and started with the basic. I really wanted my character to have a unique look, so I spent a good amount of time fiddling with the options. Changed the hair, the eyes, and even the outfit a couple of times until it felt just right. But it is quite difficult because I cannot make every single detail I want, so I accepted the result at last.
After getting the design down, I clicked “done” and saved the image to my gallery. But I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I didn’t stop there. I opened the image in a drawing app called ibisPaintX, which I’ve used before for some other projects. I wanted to tweak a few things, add some finer details, and adjust the colors a bit more to match the vision I had. I took my time on this part, making sure everything was just how I wanted it. It’s kind of therapeutic, you know? Getting lost in the details and seeing your creation come to life.
- Character’s Appearance:
- Hair: I wanted my character to have long, flowing hair, like you see on some of the characters in the game. I ended up choosing a nice shade of purple, kind of like Beidou but a bit darker.
- Eyes: For the eyes, I went with a piercing blue, which I thought would contrast well with the hair. I wanted them to look fierce yet kind.
- Outfit: This was the tricky part. I mixed and matched a few different outfit elements from the options available. Ended up with something that looked like a mix between a traditional Liyue outfit and something more adventurous, like what Fischl wears.
After I was happy with the design, I started thinking about my character’s backstory and abilities. This is where things got really fun. I imagined my character, let’s call her “Li,” being from Liyue Harbor. I gave her an Electro vision because I’ve always loved the Electro characters in the game. I pictured her using a polearm, kind of like Xiangling, but with more of a focus on quick, lightning-fast strikes.
For the color palette, I followed the Genshin style, which I read about online. I chose the purple as the main color and added shades of black and white. Threw in some gold trim because, let’s be honest, every Genshin character needs that gold trim. Then I added some splashes of blue to make her Electro vision pop. This is because I want to make sure the color makes sense with her element.

Personality and Backstory
- Personality: Li is brave and fiercely loyal to her friends. She’s got a bit of a mysterious aura, but she’s always there when you need her. She’s not afraid to speak her mind, but she’s also a good listener.
- Backstory: Li grew up in Liyue Harbor and always dreamed of becoming an adventurer. She trained in secret, mastering her polearm skills and learning to harness her Electro powers. One day, she decided to leave the harbor and explore the world of Teyvat, seeking adventure and helping those in need.
I also did some research on AI team tools for Genshin Impact. Found this cool one that helps you build teams based on character elements, weapons, and constellation levels. I thought it would be fun to see how Li would fit into different team comps. The tool suggested she’d work well with a Hydro healer, a Cryo support, and a Pyro DPS. It was pretty neat to see how she could complement other characters.
In the end, I was pretty happy with how everything turned out. Making my own Genshin Impact character was a fun and creative process. It was a great way to dive deeper into the game’s world and imagine my own stories within it. If you’re a fan of Genshin Impact, I highly recommend giving it a try. You might be surprised at what you come up with!
