Okay, so yesterday I went to this place called Game Show Battle Rooms in Golden Valley. Heard a lot about it and figured, why not give it a shot? We rolled up to this address, 8836 7th Ave N. It was easy to spot, no problem finding it.

First thing we did was book a slot. I think we booked for an hour. I went with a group of friends, maybe around 10 of us. If you have like 20 or more people, they give you an extra 15 minutes. Pretty sweet deal for bigger groups, I guess.

Once we got in, the place was buzzing. They’ve got these game show arenas set up, and it feels like you’re actually on a TV show. We got to play different games – one was like “Friendly Feud,” then there was this “Wheel of Phrases” game, and “Name that Price” which was a blast.

• The Games:
• Friendly Feud: Just like the TV show, we had to guess the most popular answers to survey questions. It was hilarious seeing what everyone came up with.
• Wheel of Phrases: This one was about guessing phrases, a bit like Wheel of Fortune. It got pretty competitive!
• Name that Price: Here, we had to guess the prices of different items. It’s harder than it looks!

We spent the whole hour just laughing and shouting answers. The staff were cool, they explained everything and kept the energy up. Honestly, it was a great way to spend an afternoon. Everyone in our group had a blast. We were talking about it the whole way home.

So, that was my day at Game Show Battle Rooms. Would I recommend it? Totally. It’s a fun spot for friends, families, even for team-building with coworkers. It’s not every day you get to be on a ‘game show’, right? If you’re in Golden Valley, check it out. It’s a good time, for sure.
