game dev story hardware engineer bekommen

Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with Game Dev Story, yeah, that mobile game. And I was stuck trying to get a Hardware Engineer. It’s not super obvious how to do it, so I figured I’d share what worked for me after some trial and error.

First thing I did was just play the game normally. You know, hire some staff, make some games, get some cash flowing. Don’t stress about the Hardware Engineer early on. It’s not gonna happen.

Then, I started focusing on leveling up my existing staff. I sent them to training, all kinds of training. Anything to boost their stats. I mostly focused on the Programmers and Designers, figuring they’d be most useful later. It felt like a grind, but it had to be done.

  • Hired basic staff (anyone would do at first).
  • Made games and got some money.
  • Trained, trained, trained my staff!

I also kept an eye on the job change items. You can get these randomly, or buy them later in the game. I made sure to save any that said they could change someone to a Hardware Engineer. I had a feeling they would be important, and, surprise, surprise, they were!

The Key Moment!

The big thing is you gotta get one of your staff members to level 5 in all four job categories. So that means they need to hit level 5 as a Coder, Writer, Designer, and Sound Engineer. It took a while! I kept switching their jobs with the career change items, trying to get each stat up. It’s like a puzzle, figuring out the best order to do it.

Once I finally had someone at level 5 in all four, bam! I used that Hardware Engineer career change item I’d been saving, and it worked! Finally, I had my Hardware Engineer. It felt good, man. All that grinding paid off.

So, basically, it’s all about leveling up, patience, and using those job change items. It’s not super complicated, just takes some time and effort. Hope this helps anyone else who’s stuck!
