game dev story app hardware engineer

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with the Game Dev Story app again, and I really wanted to figure out this whole “Hardware Engineer” thing. It always seemed super important, but I wasn’t totally sure how to make the most of it. So, I decided to dive in and really see what’s what.

First, I started a new game. You know, fresh start, clean slate. I hired a few folks, including someone with decent stats – didn’t go crazy, just needed a solid base.

Then, I started pumping out a few games. Nothing fancy, just enough to get some cash flowing and, more importantly, to get some research data. Gotta get those points!

The key, I figured, was to get to the point where I could develop my own console. That’s where the Hardware Engineer really comes into play. It took a bit of grinding, releasing a few games, getting some decent sales (and some flops, let’s be honest), and making sure I was training my staff regularly.

Unlocking the Hardware Engineer

Once I had enough research data, I went to the “Develop Console” option. Boom! There it was – the option to hire a Hardware Engineer. This dude is expensive, but I figured it was an investment.

  • I forked over the cash and hired the best Hardware Engineer I could afford.
  • I had to set the specs for my * is important. You must choose and pick the best specs you want for it.
  • I kick off the console development. This takes time, a lot of time.
  • My Hardware Engineer got to work.I could keep making games, but the best is to keep an eye to the console progress.
  • Finally, my console was ready!

Then when my first console launched, it was a moderate success. I developed a few games specifically for it, and things started to pick up. Sales were better, and my company’s reputation started to grow. This whole “Hardware Engineer” thing seemed to be paying off!

So, the lesson I learned? The Hardware Engineer is a long-term play. It’s not a quick win, but it’s essential if you want to really dominate the game and build a gaming empire. Get that research data, save up your cash, and hire the best darn Hardware Engineer you can find!
