game debate hardware check
Today, I got some free time and decided to give this site called “Game Debate” a try. I heard you can check if your computer can run certain games. I’ve been wanting to play this new game, but I’m not sure if my old PC can handle it.
First, I went to the site. The homepage has a search bar, pretty prominent, so I typed in the name of the game I was interested in. It popped right up in the suggestions, so that was easy enough.
After I clicked on the game, it took me to a page with all sorts of information about it. There were screenshots, reviews, and all that jazz. But what I really wanted was this “Can I Run It” button. Found it! Gave it a click.
Now, here’s where it got a little tricky. It asked me to enter my computer’s specs – you know, the CPU, GPU, RAM, all that stuff. I’m not a computer whiz, but I know where to find these details in my system settings. Took me a couple of minutes to find everything and type it all in.
Inputting the Specs:
- CPU: It had a dropdown menu with a bunch of options. Luckily, the one I have was listed there. Selected it.
- GPU: Same deal as the CPU, dropdown menu. Found mine and picked it.
- RAM: This one was just a number input. Typed in how much RAM my computer has.
Once I put in all my information, I hit the button to see the results. It processed for a few seconds. Honestly, I was a little nervous. I’ve been burned before, buying a game and then finding out my computer chugs like an old train trying to run it.

Finally, the results came in! It gave me a detailed breakdown of how my computer stacked up against the game’s minimum and recommended requirements. Turns out, my PC can handle it! It even showed me what settings I should probably use to get the best performance. I was pretty stoked.
This “Game Debate” site seems really handy. It’s definitely a useful tool if you’re not sure about your PC’s capabilities and want to avoid wasting money on a game you can’t play. You can try it out yourself.
