So, this football strategy board game, it’s like regular football, but you don’t gotta run around and get all sweaty. You sit at a table, like civilized folk. And you use your brain, which is good, ’cause some of these young’uns don’t use theirs enough, I tell ya.

You got this board, see? And it’s got all them lines on it, like a football field. And you got these little pieces. I don’t know what they’re called, players, I reckon. And you move ’em around, tryin’ to get that, that, what’s it called, touchdown! Yeah, that’s it.

Now, I seen some folks playin’ this game, they was all huddled up, whisperin’ and pointin’. They was callin’ it “strategy”. Sounds like somethin’ them city folk would say. But it’s just thinkin’ ahead, that’s all. Like knowin’ when to plant your corn before the rain comes. Same thing.

• You gotta pick your team, I reckon.
• And then you gotta, what’s that word, “kick off”? Yeah. Kick off!
• Then you move your little men around.

This football strategy board game, it’s a thinkin’ game. You gotta outsmart the other fella. Like when I’m playin’ dominoes with ol’ Mildred, gotta figure out what she’s gonna do before she does it. Same with this game. This is good game for a football fan. But I think it’s good for anyone.

They say football is a complicated sport. Well, maybe it is. But this game, it ain’t so bad. It’s just movin’ pieces and thinkin’. Like chess, but with, you know, football. I think this game is for kids and adults.

This game, it’s about callin’ plays. Like them coaches on TV, yellin’ and screamin’. But you don’t gotta yell. Unless you want to, I guess. It’s your house. If you like football and board games, you will like this.

They got these cards, too. Yeah, cards. You draw ’em, and they tell ya what to do. Like, “run the ball” or “throw the ball”. Or somethin’ like that. I don’t know all the fancy football talk. But it’s simple enough, even for an old gal like me. This game have cards to tell you how to play. This makes it more fun.

They call it a “design”. This game has a design. It is like art or something. A good design makes it fun to play.

Now, some of these games, they cost a pretty penny. They call it an “investment”. Like buyin’ a new cow, I reckon. But if you like football, and you like games, then maybe it’s worth it. You gotta decide that for yourself. This football strategy board game can cost money. But it is fun. So maybe it is worth it.

They say this one game, “Food Chain Magnate”, is real good. Sounds like somethin’ to do with food, but I guess it ain’t. They say it’s “unique”. That means it’s different, I reckon. It is a strategy game. Not a football strategy board game. But maybe you will like it if you like this game.
