f1 2019 game hardware requirements
So, I got this itch to play F1 2019 the other day. I used to play it all the time, but it had been a while. Figured I’d dust off the old digital steering wheel and see if my PC could still handle it. I mean, it’s not exactly a brand-new rig, you know? But it does the job most of the time.
First things first, I checked if the game was even available. Turns out, it got pulled from some stores a while back. Bummer! Luckily, I already owned a copy.
Then came the big question: could my machine even run it? I dug around online for the system requirements. Found some stuff about needing at least 8 gigs of RAM, which I have. I also found that I would need like 80 GB of free space on my hard drive. No problem there.
- OS: My Windows 10 was good to go.
- Processor: My Intel i5 was better than the minimum requirement of an i3.
- Memory: 16 GB RAM, way more than the needed 8 GB. Phew!
- Graphics Card: Here’s where things got a little dicey. It said I needed at least a Nvidia GTX640 or a HD7750. I have a GTX 1050. I think I am good.
After found the requirements, I checked my computer specs one by one to make sure. I thought I remembered it being okay, but you never know. Software updates, background processes, all that jazz can bog things down.

Thankfully, everything checked out. I mean, it’s not like I was trying to run the latest and greatest, most demanding game out there. F1 2019 is a few years old now, but it’s still a blast to play. Plus, my PC is no slouch. But still, better safe than sorry, right?
Once I confirmed I met the requirements, I fired up the game. It took a few minutes to load everything up, but that’s normal. And there it was, the familiar roar of the engines, the slick menus, everything just as I remembered.
Played for a good few hours, and it ran like a dream. No lag, no stuttering, just pure racing goodness. Guess my trusty old PC still has some life left in it after all!
So yeah, that’s my little adventure getting back into F1 2019. Just goes to show, you don’t always need the fanciest, most expensive setup to have some fun. Sometimes, the old reliable gear can still deliver the goods.
