elevator game reviews

Alright, listen up, y’all. Let me tell you about this here… elevator game. Heard folks talkin’ about it, seen some youngsters messin’ with it on their phones. Sounds like a whole lotta nothin’ if you ask me, but I’ll tell you what I gathered, you know, just in case your grandkids start acting up with this thing.

So, this “Elevator Game”, right? It ain’t no game like checkers or bingo. It’s somethin’ spooky, somethin’ the young’uns call a “creepypasta.” Don’t ask me what that means, sounds like some kinda fancy pasta dish to me. But anyways, it’s supposed to be a story from way over yonder, in Japan and Korea, them places with all the fancy gadgets.

Now, the story goes like this: you get yourself in an elevator, a tall building elevator, mind you, not one of them little ones in your fancy houses. And then, you gotta go to different floors, in a special order. It’s like a recipe, but instead of cookin’ somethin’, you’re… I dunno… cookin’ up trouble, I guess.

  • First, you go to the fourth floor. Why the fourth floor? Don’t ask me, I ain’t got a clue. Maybe them foreigners like the number four.
  • Then, you go to the second floor. Up and down, up and down, makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it.
  • Next, you gotta go to the sixth floor. See? No rhyme or reason, just a bunch of numbers.
  • After that, back to the second floor again. Lord have mercy, my knees would be killin’ me by now.
  • Then, to the tenth floor. Tenth floor! That’s way up high, I tell ya.
  • And finally, back to the fifth floor. And that’s where the spooky stuff supposedly happens.

Now, what happens on the fifth floor? Well, that depends on who you ask. Some folks say a woman gets in, a strange woman, not like the folks you see every day. And this woman, she ain’t right. Maybe she’s got somethin’ to do with that “demon” I heard whispers about, something about killin’ and such, makes my skin crawl.

Some say if you talk to her, if you even look at her, somethin’ bad will happen. Maybe you’ll disappear, maybe you’ll go crazy, maybe somethin’ worse. It’s all a bunch of hooey if you ask me, but these youngsters, they eat it up like candy. They like bein’ scared, I guess. Got nothin’ better to do with their time.

And then there’s the rules. Oh, there’s always rules, ain’t there? You can’t talk to nobody on the elevator. Not a peep. And you gotta keep your eyes closed, most of the time. Sounds like a good way to trip and fall to me, but what do I know? And you gotta have a special thing with ya, a lucky charm or somethin’. A cross, maybe, or a rabbit’s foot. Somethin’ to keep the bad spirits away.

Now, I ain’t never played this “Elevator Game,” and I ain’t plannin’ on it neither. I got enough excitement in my life tryin’ to keep the squirrels out of my garden. But if you ask me, it’s just a story, somethin’ to scare the kids. Like them ghost stories we used to tell around the campfire, ‘cept now they got elevators and fancy phones to do it with.

Still, it makes you think, don’t it? About what’s out there, in the dark, in the places we don’t understand. Maybe there’s somethin’ to it, maybe there ain’t. But I’ll tell you one thing, I’m stickin’ to the stairs. Safer that way, and better for my health too.

So, that’s the Elevator Game, as far as I can tell. A bunch of silly rules, a spooky story, and a whole lotta nothin’. But hey, if you’re lookin’ for a thrill, maybe it’s worth a try. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if you see that strange woman. You’ve been warned.

One last thing, don’t you go tryin’ this in your grandma’s apartment building, ya hear? She don’t need no demons or ghosts botherin’ her. She’s got enough to deal with already.

And another thing, be careful what you read on that there internet. Lots of foolishness out there, lot of things that ain’t true. Stick to the good stuff, the stuff that makes you laugh, not the stuff that keeps you up at night.

Now, go on and get outta here. I gotta go make some supper. And no more talk about this “Elevator Game,” it gives me the heebie-jeebies.
