dead rising 3 game review
Okay, so I’ve been diving into the world of “Dead Rising 3,” and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I heard some good things about it and thought, why not give it a shot? Plus, who doesn’t love a good zombie apocalypse?
I started by downloading the game. It took a while, but hey, I had snacks to keep me occupied. Once it was all set up, I jumped right in. The opening cutscene was pretty intense. It threw me straight into the chaos. I’m playing as this mechanic guy, Nick Ramos, and let me tell you, this dude can craft some crazy weapons.
First off, I spent a good amount of time just running around, exploring the city of Los Perdidos. There are zombies everywhere, like, seriously everywhere. And they’re not the slow, shambling kind, some of them are pretty fast! I quickly learned that running is sometimes the best option. But where’s the fun in that, right?
So, I started scavenging for anything and everything I could find. Pipes, wrenches, baseball bats, you name it. Then came the fun part: combining stuff to make weapons. I whipped up a sledgehammer with a saw blade on it, it was glorious! Slicing and dicing zombies with that thing was super satisfying. I also made a gun that shoots teddy bears filled with dynamite. Yeah, you heard that right. It’s as ridiculous and awesome as it sounds.
The game has these things called “Psychopaths” – basically, crazy boss battles. These guys are tough, but they drop some sweet blueprints for even crazier weapons when you beat them. I fought this clown guy who was throwing fire bombs, it was intense but I finally took him down. I also faced off against a bodybuilder who was just throwing weights at me. These fights really tested my skills and my makeshift arsenal.

I also tried the co-op mode with a buddy of mine. Let me tell you, playing with a friend takes the fun to a whole new level. We were running around, creating mayhem, and laughing our heads off as we mowed down hordes of zombies with our insane weapon combos. We even found some vehicles we could customize and drive around in. Nothing beats running over a crowd of zombies in a souped-up sports car with a flamethrower attached.
My Conclusion
- The game’s pretty darn fun, especially if you enjoy over-the-top action and creative gameplay.
- The weapon crafting system is a blast, and there are tons of combinations to discover.
- Exploring the city and finding all the hidden stuff is rewarding.
- Playing co-op is definitely the way to go if you can.
Overall, I’m really enjoying “Dead Rising 3”. It’s not perfect, of course. Sometimes the story feels a bit cheesy, and the controls can be a little clunky at times. But honestly, the sheer fun of crafting ridiculous weapons and slaying zombies more than makes up for it. I’m still playing through it, and I can’t wait to see what other crazy stuff I can create and what other insane situations I’ll get myself into. If you’re looking for a fun, action-packed zombie game, definitely give this one a try. Just be prepared to lose a few hours of your life, you might get sucked in like I did!
