Well, howdy there! Let’s talk about this here CLZ Games Hardware thing, whatever that is. Sounds fancy, huh? My grandkid’s always fiddlin’ with these newfangled gadgets, so I reckon this is somethin’ like that.

First off, they say you gotta “Add Hardware”. Now, I ain’t no tech whiz, but it sounds like you gotta tell the contraption what you got. Like, if you got one of them joystick things, you gotta let it know. You know, them stick things you wiggle around to make the characters on the screen move. My grandkid says it makes the game more “interestin’”. Kids these days, always needin’ somethin’ to keep ’em entertained.

This here “Game Hardware”, they say it’s all the stuff you need to play the game. Kinda like how you need a hoe and a rake to work the garden, I guess. They talk about “Player Terminals” and “Dealer Terminals” and all sorts of fancy words. Sounds complicated, but I reckon it just means the boxes and screens and such that you use to play. And somethin’ called a “server”? Is that like the fella who brings you your food at the diner? They sure do like to make things sound complicated.

Then there’s this “CLZ Games App” thing. My grandkid got it on his… whatchamacallit… a “Play Store” or somethin’. Said it got a big update, a “huge 5.3 update”. Sounds like a big deal. He’s always yellin’ about updates. Says it makes things better. I don’t know if I buy that, half the time, things just end up more confusing.

This app, it helps you keep track of all your games. You know, like how I keep track of my canning jars? You can “scan game barcodes” or “search” for the game by name. They got some kinda “online game database”. Sounds like a big library, but for games. And it gives you all the details about the game, automatically. Well, ain’t that somethin’? Back in my day, you just had the game, and that was that. No fancy details needed.

They even got somethin’ called “Game Connect”. Now, I don’t know about that one. Maybe it’s how them young folks connect with each other these days, instead of just talkin’ face to face. Seems like they’re always lookin’ at a screen.

And get this, they talk about “loose games” and “CIB”. Said somethin’ about boxes and manuals. Seems like if you got the box and the little book that comes with the game, it’s worth more. Go figure. When I was a young’un, we just played the game till it was wore out, didn’t matter no box or no book. Times sure have changed.

So, you wanna use this CLZ Games Hardware thing, you gotta get the software for your computer, or the app for your phone or tablet. They say it works on all sorts of things, “PC or Mac”, “iPhone, iPad or Android device”. Sounds like you can use it on just about anythin’ these days. Makes my head spin, all this technology.

But if it helps my grandkid keep his games organized, then I guess it can’t be all bad. Just gotta make sure he still comes outside and gets some fresh air every now and then. These games and gadgets, they ain’t gonna raise themselves, ya know? And that’s all I gotta say about this here CLZ Games Hardware. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my chickens.
