breakout games – pittsburgh reviews
Okay, so, I wanna tell you guys about this awesome place I went to with my buddy, Nico. It’s called Breakout Games, and it’s in Dormont, right near Pittsburgh. We’ve actually gone there twice now because it’s just that much fun!
The first time we went, we were a little unsure of what to expect. I mean, you hear about these escape rooms, and you think, “Is it gonna be lame? Is it gonna be too easy?” But let me tell you, it was neither of those things.
We walked in, and the staff was super friendly. They weren’t just going through the motions, you know? They seemed genuinely excited to be there, which is always a good sign. They explained the rules, showed us to our room, and then the clock started ticking.
We had 60 minutes to escape, and let me tell you, those minutes flew by! We were running around, searching for clues, solving puzzles – it was intense! We didn’t get them all. Sometimes we asked staff for a hint or two. They were helpful without giving too much away.
- We picked a room with a cool storyline. I don’t wanna spoil anything, but it involved cracking codes.
- The puzzles were challenging but not impossible.
- We really had to work together to figure things out.
The second time we went, we tried a different room. It was just as fun as the first, maybe even more so because we kinda knew what we were doing. I think we work pretty good. We still needed a few hints here and there, but we made it out with a few minutes to spare! High-fived each other after that.
What I loved
Honestly, both times were a blast. It’s a great way to spend an hour, and it’s something different to do with your friends or family. Plus, it’s in a good location. I think the address is 2961 W Liberty Ave, but don’t quote me on that. Just search for it.
If you’re in the Pittsburgh area and you’re looking for something fun to do, I definitely recommend checking out Breakout Games. You won’t regret it!
So, yeah, that’s my little review of Breakout Games. Two thumbs up from me!
