bluey video game reviews
Well now, let me tell ya ’bout this Bluey video game. My grandkid, that little rascal, he’s been yappin’ about it non-stop. “Granny, Granny, get me the Bluey game!” he kept hollerin’. So, I figured, what the heck, let’s see what all the fuss is about.
First off, what is this Bluey thing anyway? Seems like some kinda cartoon dog or somethin’. Kids these days, always glued to their screens. Back in my day, we played outside, ya know? But times change, I guess. So, this Bluey, he’s got a game now. And lemme tell ya, it ain’t like those fancy games with shootin’ and explosions and all that jazz.
This Bluey game, it’s more like… well, it’s like playin’ pretend, but on the TV. You got this little blue dog and his family, and they do all sorts of things. They play games together, go on adventures, you know, kid stuff. My grandkid, he seems to like it. He sits there giggling and pokin’ at the screen.
- They play hide-and-seek.
- They go to the beach.
- They even pretend to be grown-ups.
Now, I ain’t no gamer, mind you. I can barely work this here phone, let alone a video game controller. But from what I can see, this Bluey game is pretty simple. Even a ol’ lady like me could probably figure it out. You just move Bluey around and do different things. It ain’t rocket science, that’s for sure.
But here’s the thing, this game, it’s kinda… short. My grandkid, he played through the whole thing in like, an hour. An hour! Back in my day, games lasted for days, even weeks. You’d get your money’s worth, ya know? But this Bluey game, it’s over before you can even blink. They say you can play it for three hours if you want to see everything, but my grandkid ain’t got the patience for that. He wants new games, new toys, all the time.

And another thing, some of the games in the game, they’re kinda…boring. Yeah, I said it. Boring! My grandkid was playin’ some kinda game where he had to keep balloons in the air. And I’m sittin’ there watchin’ him, thinkin’, “This is entertainment?” Shoot, I coulda come up with somethin’ more fun than that!
But I gotta say, this Bluey game, it ain’t all bad. It teaches kids about teamwork and friendship, which is more than I can say for some of them violent games they got out there. At least this game is wholesome, ya know? It’s got them little dogs workin’ together and bein’ nice to each other. And that’s important, specially in this day and age.
And the jokes, they say they got jokes for the grown-ups too. Well, I didn’t catch any of ’em. Maybe I’m just too old, or maybe they weren’t that funny. My grandkid, he didn’t seem to notice any jokes either. He was too busy chasin’ after them digital balloons.
So, overall, this Bluey video game, it’s alright, I guess. It ain’t great, but it ain’t terrible either. It’s short, some of the games are boring, but it’s wholesome and teaches good values. If your kid is a fan of that Bluey dog, then they’ll probably like this game. But don’t expect it to keep ’em entertained for too long. And if you’re lookin’ for a game with a lot of action and excitement, well, this ain’t it. This is a kids game, plain and simple. And if you ask me, it costs too much money for what it is.
You can buy this game from Amazon, they got all sorts of games there. But honestly, I’d rather spend my money on a good roast chicken. At least I know that’ll fill me up.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about video games has made me hungry.
