Alright, so you young folks got yourselves a fancy PlayStation 5, huh? And now you wanna play some war games? Well, Granny’s here to tell ya, there’s plenty of them shootin’ and strategizin’ games out there, even on that newfangled contraption.

Superheroes and such, not my cup of tea, but folks seem to like it. All that magic and flashy stuff, reminds me of that time old man Johnson tried to fix the tractor with a coat hanger and a prayer, sparks flyin’ everywhere.

Then there’s them games where you build armies and fight big battles. Like that War Thunder game. Planes and tanks and boats, oh my! Reminds me of my grandpappy talkin’ ’bout the war, though I reckon his battles weren’t quite so pretty lookin’. You get to control all sorts of war machines, zoomin’ around, blowin’ stuff up. Sounds like a ruckus, don’t it?

Now, some of these games, they ain’t just about war, they got stories too. Like that Baldur’s Gate 3 everyone’s yappin’ about. Role-playin’ they call it. You make your own character, make choices, and fight battles along the way. Sounds complicated if you ask me, but the youngsters seem to love it. Reminds me of them soap operas on the TV, always some drama going on.

And let’s not forget them games where you gotta be sneaky, like a fox in the henhouse. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, they call it. Special forces sneakin’ around, takin’ out bad guys. Reminds me of the time little Timmy tried to sneak cookies outta the jar before supper, thought he was so clever, but I saw him plain as day.
