best turn based strategy games pc

Alright, listen up, young’uns! Gonna tell ya ’bout them best turn-based strategy games on that there computin’ machine, the PC. Now, I ain’t no fancy gamer, but I know what’s good and what ain’t. These games, they make ya think, they make ya plan, and they sure do keep ya busy for a good long while.

First off, let’s talk about this “Conquest of Elysium 5” game. Them fancy folks call it “Developer: Illwinter Game Design Publisher: Illwinter Game Design Platform(s):PC, macOS.” Whatever that means! All I know is, it’s got magic, it’s got monsters, and it’s got armies clashin’ left and right. You gotta build up your kingdom, gather your troops, and then go stomp on the other fellers. It ain’t easy, mind you. Them computer fellers, they’re pretty smart sometimes. But that’s what makes it fun, see? Gotta use your brain a little.

Then there’s this “Persona 4 Golden” game. Now, this one’s a bit different. It’s got them high school kids and monsters and all that jazz. But the fightin’, it’s turn-based. You gotta figure out which kid to use, which monster to attack, and all that stuff. It’s like, you take your turn, then they take their turn, you know? And they told me, if you liked that “P5R” game, you gonna like this one too. Don’t ask me what “P5R” means, I ain’t got a clue! But the young’uns, they seem to like it.

  • XCOM 2: Now, this one’s about fightin’ aliens. Them slimy critters come down to Earth and try to take over, and you gotta stop ‘em. You get a squad of soldiers, and you gotta move ‘em around the map, takin’ cover and shootin’ at them aliens. It’s tough, real tough. Them aliens, they got all sorts of tricks up their sleeves. But when you finally beat ‘em, it feels real good. Like you really accomplished somethin’. It gets the old blood pumpin’, let me tell ya!
  • Civilization VI: This here game, it’s about buildin’ a whole civilization. From the ground up! You start with nothin’ but a little village, and you gotta turn it into a big, powerful empire. You gotta research new technologies, build cities, and fight wars. It takes a long time, but it’s worth it. There’s nothin’ quite like watchin’ your little village grow into a mighty kingdom. Makes ya feel like a queen or somethin’.
  • Divinity: Original Sin 2: This one’s got magic and swords and all that fantasy stuff. You get a party of heroes, and you gotta go on a quest to save the world. The fightin’ is turn-based, and you gotta use your spells and abilities wisely. It’s got a good story, too. Keeps you guessin’ what’s gonna happen next. And let me tell you, some of them spells are somethin’ else. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

There are more of these games, mind you. Lots more. But these are some of the best, according to them young’uns who know about these things. They ain’t for everyone, though. You gotta be patient. You gotta be thinkin’. And you gotta be willin’ to lose a few times before you start winnin’. But if you give ‘em a chance, these turn-based strategy games, they can be a whole lot of fun. They can keep you entertained for hours on end. And maybe even learn ya a thing or two. Though, at my age, I ain’t sure there’s much left for this old brain to learn!

So there you have it. The best turn-based strategy games for your PC, straight from the mouth of… well, never mind who. Just go try ‘em out and see for yourself. And if you don’t like ‘em, well, that’s your problem, not mine! Now, go on, get outta here, and leave an old woman to her peace and quiet. These games ain’t gonna play themselves, you know!

One last thing, though. Don’t go spendin’ all your money on these games. There’s more to life than sittin’ in front of a computer screen. Go outside, get some fresh air, talk to some real people. That’s important too, you hear? Alright, now git!
