best strategy games ds

Alright, let’s talk about them best strategy games DS, you know, those little game machines. My grandkids, they love ’em. Always fiddlin’ with them things. So, I asked ’em, “What’s good on that there DS?” And they told me, they told me a whole bunch. Now, I ain’t no gamer, mind you, but I can tell ya what they said.

First off, they talked about somethin’ called Civilization VI. Sounded fancy. They said it’s like, you buildin’ your own little world, from nothin’ to somethin’. You gotta think hard, they said. Can’t just go around willy-nilly. Gotta plan things out, like plantin’ crops or buildin’ houses. Sounds like hard work to me, but them kids, they love it. Said it’s been around forever, this Civilization game. Lots of folks play it. Must be good, right?

Then, there’s this other game, somethin’ about pokey-mans. Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, they called it. Now, I don’t get the pokey-mans, all them little critters runnin’ around. But the kids, they said these were special. Said they were like, the best ones on the DS. Remakes, they called ’em. From older games, I guess. They catch these pokey-mans, train ’em, make ’em fight. Sounds kinda cruel if you ask me, but they said it’s fun. Lots of things to do, places to go. Keeps ’em busy, that’s for sure.

And then, there was this other one, somethin’ with a funny name… Ys Strategy DS. Sounded like “wise” but spelled all weird. They said it was from Japan, or somewhere over there. You gotta move your little people around, fight bad guys, I guess. They didn’t talk about it as much as them other two, but they said it was good. Strategy, you know, gotta think before you move. Like chess, but with more monsters, I reckon.

• Thinkin’ games are big on DS. That’s what the kids tell me. Not just shootin’ and jumpin’, but plannin’ and thinkin’. Like buildin’ a whole town, or trainin’ them pokey-mans. Takes brains, they said.
• Old games, new games, it don’t matter. They got them old pokey-man games remade, and they still play ’em. And that Civilization thing, been around longer than I have, probably. Still popular, though. So, good games are good games, I guess.
• Little machine, big fun. That DS, it’s tiny, but it’s got a lot of games. Surprised me, it did. Figured it’d be just for kids, but seems like grown folks play it too. That Civilization game, that’s for grown folks, I bet. Too much thinkin’ for my little grandkids.

So, there you have it. The best strategy games DS, according to them youngsters. Civilization, pokey-mans, and that Ys thing. They got more, I’m sure, but those are the ones they talked about the most. If you like thinkin’ games, I guess the DS is the place to be. Just don’t ask me how to play ’em. I’m too old for that nonsense. I’ll stick to my knittin’, thank you very much.

Now, don’t go thinkin’ I know all about this game stuff. I just listened to them kids chatterin’ away. They know more about it than I ever will. But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to keep them grandkids busy, somethin’ that ain’t just shootin’ and bang-bangin’, maybe try them strategy games. Might even learn ’em somethin’, who knows? Just don’t expect me to help you figure ’em out. I can barely work the TV remote, let alone one of them fancy game machines.

Anyways, that’s all I got to say about it. Best strategy games DS… Civilization, pokey-mans, and Ys. Go ask your grandkids, they’ll tell you all about it. And if they don’t, well, maybe they’re too busy playin’ ’em!
