amber build genshin impact
Okay, so I wanted to build Amber in Genshin Impact, ’cause, you know, why not? She’s the first character you get, and I felt like giving her some love. Plus, I saw some folks online doing some crazy stuff with her, so I was curious.
First, I gathered all my resources. I mean everything. I checked my artifacts, looked at my weapons, and even read some guides online (don’t tell anyone). I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going in completely blind.
Weapon Choice
For the weapon, I initially thought about using the Favonius Warbow, you know, for the Energy Recharge. But then, I remembered I had an Amos’ Bow just lying around, collecting dust. More Attack sounded better. I guess if you don’t have Amos’, maybe the Prototype Crescent could work? Or even the Sharpshooter’s Oath if you really don’t have anything.
Artifact Grind
Then came the artifact grind… oh boy. I spent hours in that domain, the one with the Pyro flowers and stuff. I was aiming for the Wanderer’s Troupe set, because it boosts Charged Attack damage. It was, let’s just say, not fun. So many runs, so much resin… I swear, I saw those Pyro slimes in my sleep.
- Flower: I got one with decent Crit Rate and Crit DMG, which was a win.
- Feather: This one was surprisingly easy, and it has ATK% with Crit substats.
- Sands: ATK% all the way, baby. I tried to get some good substats, but RNG wasn’t my friend that day.
- Goblet: Pyro DMG Bonus, of course. This one took forever to drop. I got a bunch of cryo and defence ones.
- Circlet: Crit DMG. I could have gone for Crit Rate, but I figured I could get enough from other sources.
Leveling Up
After I got all (most) of the artifacts, I started leveling everything up. I fed Amber all my Hero’s Wits, leveled her talents as high as I could (Baron Bunny is kinda cute, I gotta admit), and maxed out her weapon. My Mora is crying right now. My resources, all depleted, GONE.

The Test Run
Finally, the moment of truth. I took Amber out for a spin in the Spiral Abyss. I charged up her shots, aimed for weak points, and… boom! Okay, it wasn’t amazing damage, but it was definitely better than before. I even managed to clear a few floors with her. I’d say it was a success, considering it’s Amber we’re talking about.
It’s kinda satisfying, seeing her shoot for much higher numbers than when I started. So that’s my Amber build story. Might not be the best, most meta build out there, but hey, it’s my Amber, and I’m pretty happy with how she turned out.
