alice madness returns game review
Okay, let’s talk about Alice: Madness Returns. This game caught my eye a while back, and I finally got around to playing it. I remember seeing some buzz about it when it first came out in 2011, but I was busy with other stuff then.
So, I fired it up, not really knowing what to expect. The first thing that hit me was the setting. You’re in this dreary, kinda depressing Victorian orphanage, and Alice is seeing a shrink, trying to deal with her, well, madness.
I started playing, going through the story and all. I was moving Alice to jump around, do some fighting. The game’s got this dark, twisted vibe, like a messed-up version of Alice in Wonderland. It really reminded me of those old-school games like Mario 64 and Banjo Kazooie, but way darker. It was nostalgic, but in a creepy kinda way.
I spent hours playing this game and it got me totally hooked. The story, man, it’s a trip. It’s so well done, so dark, and twisted. I found myself really getting into it. I was on the hunt for these “memories” scattered throughout the game, and each one was like another piece of the puzzle.
I kept playing, trying to uncover all the secrets and figure out what the heck was going on with Alice. The game throws all these crazy, messed-up levels at you. I explored every corner I could find. The story just kept getting more and more intense.

After a lot of playing, I finally beat the game. I felt a real sense of accomplishment, like I’d been through this wild, crazy journey with Alice. I’d recommend this game to anyone who’s into dark, story-driven stuff. It’s a bit older now, but it’s a gem.
I’m thinking about replaying it soon to see if I can catch all the memories I missed the first time. This game really stuck with me. It’s a unique experience.
