Star Trek USS Enterprise Starship Is Lego’s Black Friday 2025 Set

Lego’s Black Friday sale this year will be headlined by one of the biggest releases in years: the first official Star Trek building set. Like all of Lego’s Black Friday launches, the upcoming Star Trek model is massive. And what better way for Star Trek to make its Lego debut than with its most iconic ship? That’s right, Star Trek fans will soon be able to build the Starship Enterprise. Part of the Lego Icons line, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D is a 3,600-piece replica of the starship from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Lego’s Starship Enterprise looks awesome; it’s an intricately designed model that appears to have captured the ship’s distinct appearance. It comes with a buildable display stand, a cool information plaque, and nine Lego minifigures based on the crew.

The USS Enterprise (10356) retails for $400 and comes with a free Star Trek Lego Icons set: the Type-15 Shuttlepod (40768) from November 28 to December 1. The Shuttlepod is a 261-piece minifigure-scale ship with openable wing doors, a rear hatch, and other authentic details. It comes with an Ensign Ro Laren minifigure. As usual, the Black Friday freebie is only available to those who purchase the USS Enterprise on Black Friday weekend. The Shuttlepod measures 2.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 inches.

The Starship Enterprise is not only a large set in terms of pieces–3,600 puts it in pretty rare company–it also takes up considerable shelf space. When attached to the angled display stand, the Enterprise is over 10.5 inches tall, 23.5 inches long, and 18.5 inches wide. The modular build has a removable command saucer and a secondary hull. You’ll build two small shuttlepods to store in the shuttlebay.

Each Lego minifigure is dressed in their Next Generation uniform, and all nine characters have their own accessories, including a tractor beam generator, a trombone, and a phaser. One of the accessories is the cat Spot, who can stand on the buildable minifigure display stand. Here’s the list of Next Generation characters who received the Lego minifigure treatment.

Included Star Trek Lego Minifigures:

  • Captain Jean-Luc Picard
  • Commander William Riker
  • Lieutenant Worf
  • Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge
  • Lieutenant Commander Data
  • Dr. Beverly Crusher
  • Counsellor Deanna Troi
  • Bartender Guinan
  • Wesley Crusher

Lego’s Black Friday sale starts November 28 at 12 AM ET. Each year, Lego collectors flood the Lego Store’s online storefront at midnight on Black Friday to get the headliner set and the exclusive freebie for purchasing it early. We expect this year’s Black Friday sale to be even busier than usual due to Star Trek.

Lego announced its partnership with the classic sci-fi franchise on Star Trek Day in September. The teaser showed a minifigure of Jean-Luc Picard in his Next Generation uniform, but many fans probably assumed Star Trek Lego sets wouldn’t arrive until 2026. Granted, if you don’t get your order in on launch weekend, it’s possible the Lego Icons Starship Enterprise will be a 2026 release for you. Lego’s popular Black Friday releases are often backordered before long.
