how much data does genshin impact use on mobile
Alright, so I’ve been diving deep into Genshin Impact on my phone lately, and I started wondering just how much data this game was chewing through. I mean, it’s a gorgeous game, but that usually means a hefty data appetite, right? So, I decided to track it down and see what’s what.
The Initial Download… Woah!
First things first, I launched the game for, well, not the first time, but you know, to start fresh with my data tracking. I was watching the extra resource download, and man, it was a big one. After a while of watching those files keep growing.
- Character stuff
- Maps
- Cutscenes
- Music and voices…
I’m pretty sure all that initial download stuff was pushing 30.96 GB. Yeah, you read that right. Gigabytes!.
Checking My Phone’s Storage
After all that downloading finished, I hopped over to my phone’s settings to see how much space Genshin Impact was actually taking up. After adding that first big number, with all the usual small stuff, I’m clocking in at around 31.26 GB total. That’s a considerable chunk of my phone’s storage, no doubt about it.
So, What’s the Damage?
So, there you have it. My little experiment showed me that Genshin Impact is a data beast, at least when you’re getting started. It’s a huge game. Keep that in mind if you’re on a limited data plan or running low on storage!
