game debate hardware scanner 012

Okay, so I was messing around with my PC again today. This time, I wanted to check out this thing called Game Debate Hardware Scanner. I’d heard about it from some online forums, and people seemed to think it was pretty good for checking if your PC could run certain games.

Starting the Whole Thing

First, I went to the Game Debate website. Finding the scanner was pretty straightforward. I just saw this big button that said something like “Start Scan,” so I clicked it. The website asked me to download a file, it seems to be a small program, and I saved it to my Downloads folder.

Running the File

After the download was done, I opened the file. It was an executable file. My antivirus software popped up for a second to check it, but everything seemed okay. Then, a little window opened up. It had a progress bar and some other technical-looking stuff that I didn’t really understand, but it looked like it was doing its thing, analyzing my PC’s hardware.

Waiting for the Scan

I waited for a few minutes while it ran the scan. It wasn’t super quick, but it wasn’t too long either. I just browsed some other websites while I was waiting. This part was a bit boring, but I figured it was necessary to get the results. I did some other things then came back.

Getting the Results

Once the scan finished, the program gave me a whole bunch of information. It showed me my processor, my graphics card, my RAM, and a bunch of other stuff. It also gave each component a score. And the best part is, I can select a game and it will tell me if my PC meets the minimum and recommended requirements. And it even tells me the bottleneck in my hardware!

Trying It Out

I decided to see if I could run this new game that everyone’s been talking about, I think the name is called “Cyberpunk 2077”. I selected it in the program. The scanner told me that my PC could run it, but it might struggle a bit on the highest settings. It even suggested which settings I should tweak to get the best performance. This is the best part of this software! It’s really detailed and you can really see what your PC is capable of!

Wrapping Up

Overall, I was pretty happy with the Game Debate Hardware Scanner. It was easy to use, gave me a lot of useful information, and helped me figure out what games my PC can handle. I’ll definitely be using it again in the future when I’m thinking about buying a new game. The only bad thing I found about it is that the software seems to crash at times, especially when I switch between the games I want to check. But overall, it’s a really good experience.
