divinity original sin game review
Alright, so I got this game, “Divinity: Original Sin.” I heard a lot about it, and figured I’d give it a shot. I booted it up, and right away, I was thrown into character creation.
Spent a good chunk of time there, by the way. You can tweak just about everything, from your character’s looks to their starting skills. I ended up going with a classic warrior type and a mage, because, why not? Classic combo, right?
Once I got past that, the game plopped me into this world. It’s huge, and there’s stuff to do everywhere. I started exploring, talking to people, and picking up quests. There’s a main storyline, yeah, but there’s also tons of side stuff to get into.
Now, the combat, that’s where things get interesting. It’s turn-based, and you gotta think about your moves. You can use the environment to your advantage, like setting oil on fire or using water to make an enemy wet then zapping them with electricity. I did that a lot, felt pretty clever, not gonna lie.
- Created Characters: Spent way too long deciding on hairstyles.
- Explored the World: Walked around, talked to everyone, got lost a few times.
- Fought Monsters: Blew stuff up, cast spells, felt like a boss.
- Solved Quests: Found some clues, put two and two together, felt like a detective.
- Collected Loot: Found some shiny stuff, equipped it, got stronger.
What I Did in the Game:
I played for hours, and I still feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface. There are so many different ways to build your characters, so many choices to make, and so many places to explore. I tried different party combinations and learned how to use the environment to my advantage in battles.

Honestly, it’s a pretty deep game. If you’re into RPGs with a lot of freedom and a good challenge, you might wanna check it out. I’m definitely going back to it. Still, I have got a ton of quests to finish and a whole world to uncover. It’s gonna be a while before I see the end of this one, I think!
Anyway, that’s my experience with “Divinity: Original Sin” so far. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m not even close to being done. If you guys want to know more, or have any tips for me, just comment below. I would like to hear your suggestions.
