how to enable 17 on roblox
So, I wanted to enable voice chat on Roblox because, you know, it’s cool to talk to people while playing. I did some digging online and found a way to do it. Here’s how I got it working:
First, I logged into my Roblox account. Easy peasy.
Then, I clicked on the gear icon in the top right corner to go to the settings. It’s kinda hidden up there, but you’ll find it.

Account Info
Once I was in the settings, I went to the “Account Info” section. I made sure my age was verified because you need to be 13 or older to use voice chat. I mean, it makes sense, right?
I clicked on “Verify My Age” and followed the instructions. I think I had to use my ID, not sure though, can’t really remember.

Privacy Settings
Next, I headed over to the “Privacy” tab. This is where the magic happens.
I scrolled down until I found the “Microphone” setting. There was a toggle there to enable it. I obviously switched that baby on.
After enabling the microphone, I saw another setting for “Voice Chat” appear. This was a new beta feature at the time. I turned that on too. It was like flipping the master switch!
Once I did all that, I restarted Roblox. Just to make sure everything took effect, you know?
When I logged back in, I joined a game that supported voice chat. I saw a little microphone icon above my avatar’s head. That’s how I knew it was working! And it was, I could finally speak to others in game. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
So yeah, that’s how I enabled voice chat on Roblox. It wasn’t too hard, just a few steps and some toggling. Now I can chat with my buddies while we play, which is way more fun! Give it a shot, it’s worth it.
