So, I’ve been really into Genshin Impact lately. I mean, who isn’t? The characters, the world, it’s all so captivating. I found myself wanting to see those awesome visuals all the time, even when I wasn’t playing. Then it hit me – what if I could make one of those cool Genshin GIFs my desktop wallpaper?
First I went off to find some GIFs. I mean, there are tons of them out there, showcasing all kinds of stuff from the game. Character animations, epic battle scenes, funny moments, you name it. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing through them, trying to find the perfect one that would make my desktop really pop.
Once I had a collection of GIFs that I liked, I had to figure out how to actually set them as my wallpaper. Turns out, Windows doesn’t natively support GIFs as wallpapers, what a shame. But no worries, a little digging around led me to this program called Lively Wallpaper. It’s totally free and seemed to do exactly what I needed.
I downloaded and installed Lively Wallpaper, which was a breeze, and then fired it up. The interface was pretty straightforward. There’s a library section where you can add your own wallpapers. I clicked on the “Add Wallpaper” button, browsed to where I saved my Genshin Impact GIFs, and selected the one I wanted to try out first.
- Open Lively Wallpaper.
- Go to “Add Wallpaper”.
- Choose my Genshin Impact GIF.
- And Boom! It’s set.
And just like that, it worked! My desktop was now graced with a cool animation from Genshin Impact. It felt like my computer got a major upgrade. I played around with a few different GIFs, and they all worked flawlessly. You can even customize how the GIF is displayed, like whether it should stretch, fit, or center on the screen.
Honestly, it was way easier than I thought it would be. If you’re a Genshin Impact fan and want to bring a bit of Teyvat to your desktop, I highly recommend giving this a shot. It’s a simple way to make your computer feel a little more personalized and a lot more fun.
