genshin impact figma
Today, I’m going to talk about something really cool that I messed around with – making a Figma design for Genshin Impact. You know, that super popular game with all the awesome characters and beautiful landscapes? Yeah, that one.
So, first off, I started by just diving into the game itself. Played it for a bit, not just for fun (okay, maybe a little for fun), but to really get a feel for the vibe, you know? I was looking at everything – the colors, the way the characters move, the whole shebang. Genshin Impact has this really unique style, and I wanted to make sure I captured that. It says “you can explore seven nations, meet a diverse cast of characters with unique personalities and abilities,” and that is true. The game world is huge.
Then, I started gathering stuff. I grabbed a bunch of images – you know, those vector images of elements from the game. I made a huge folder. I also went to * and just started. No prior knowledge, just some passion.
After that, it was time to get down to business in Figma. I started with the basics, creating frames that looked like the game’s interface. I played around with colors, trying to match that Genshin Impact palette. It’s a lot of vibrant colors but also some more muted tones, so it was a bit of a balancing act. I also started playing with the layout. They say “Controls in Genshin Impact differs depending on the device. Mobile devices are primarily touch based controls, PlayStation has controller inputs.” So I focused on mobile, and I did some research on how the mobile interface looks. There are many screenshots.
Next up, the characters. Oh boy, the characters. They’re so detailed! I spent a good chunk of time just trying to get their look right in Figma. I used a lot of shapes and gradients to mimic their outfits and, let me tell you, it wasn’t easy. But it was super satisfying to see them start to come to life on my screen.

And it wasn’t just about making things look pretty. I also thought about how players would use this interface. I tried to make it intuitive, you know? Like, where would your eyes naturally go? What buttons would you want to press first? It’s all about that user experience.
The Final Result
In the end, I had something that I was really proud of. It wasn’t just a copy of the game’s design. I feel like I added my own little twist to it, while still keeping the essence of Genshin Impact. It was a ton of work, but honestly, it was also a lot of fun. It’s amazing what you can do with a bit of creativity and a lot of patience.
And that’s pretty much it. My little adventure in designing a Figma for Genshin Impact. Hope you guys found it interesting. Catch you in the next one!
