Okay, so I gotta tell you about this place I went to the other day – Game Show Battle Rooms in Lombard. It’s like stepping into your own private game show, and it was a total blast. I’d seen some buzz about it online, you know, just scrolling through Yelp and stuff, and it sounded like a good time. There were mentions of Game Night Out and Activate Games, even something called Immersive Gamebox in Oakbrook, but this place, Game Show Battle Rooms, really caught my eye.

I rounded up a bunch of my buddies, we were like 10 in total, and booked a slot. It’s right there on Highland Ave, super easy to find. We walked in, and bam, it was like being on a TV set, but way cooler because it was just us. No huge crowd or anything, which is perfect for a bunch of loud friends like us.

They’ve got this whole setup with different game show sets and a host, a real live host, to guide you through everything. The most common time is about an hour in the arena. We started with some warm-up games, kind of like those classic game shows you see on TV. Think buzzers, trivia, and a whole lot of yelling answers.
