dex game diy hardware
Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Dex game and the DIY hardware stuff. I ain’t no fancy gamer, mind you, but I heard some young’uns talkin’ ’bout it, and it got me thinkin’. So, I poked around a bit and figured I’d share what I learned, the way I understand it, ya know?
First off, this Dex game, it’s one of them action RPG things. Kinda like them stories on the TV, but you get to make the choices, I guess. It’s got all this cyberpunk stuff goin’ on, futuristic like, with robots and such. And this open world thing, that means you can go wherever you want, I reckon, not stuck on one road like goin’ to market.
Now, this DIY Hardware, that’s a quest in the game. A quest, that’s like a chore, but more excitin’ than fetchin’ water from the well. To start this hardware chore, you gotta get this Dex – Extra Outfits DLC. DLC, that’s like addin’ extra pockets to your apron, only it’s for the game. You gotta go to their store page, wherever that is on that computer thingy, and get it. I ain’t sure how much it costs, but them youngsters spend money like water, so I guess it can’t be too much, can it?
Once you got that extra outfit stuff, you gotta go to the Industrial Zone in the game. That’s like the factory part of town, where all the clangin’ and bangin’ happens. Look for a door next to the Slicers’ entrance. Slicers, they sound like trouble, always cuttin’ corners, just like that butcher down the road who gives ya short weight on the sausage.
Now, for this chore, you’re gonna need some stuff. They call ’em items, like when you’re bakin’ a pie, you need flour and sugar. One important item they recommend is the Mirrorshade Cloak. Sounds fancy, huh? Like somethin’ a magician would wear. Or you might need some devices, little gizmos, to help you along. I guess it’s like havin’ a good wrench and some pliers when you’re fixin’ the tractor.

- Dex Game: An action RPG with cyberpunk themes and open world.
- DIY Hardware: A quest in the Dex game.
- Dex – Extra Outfits DLC: Needed to start the DIY Hardware quest.
- Industrial Zone: The location to start the quest, near the Slicers’ entrance.
- Mirrorshade Cloak/Devices: Recommended items for the quest.
This quest, it seems, was added or changed a while back, in 2016. Them youngsters are always updatin’ things, can’t leave well enough alone, just like when they put that newfangled street light outside my house, shinin’ in my windows all night.
Anyways, if you get stuck on this chore, there’s a community guide out there, that’s like askin’ your neighbor how to fix the fence, only it’s on that internet thing. Look for the quest labelled D.I.Y Hardware, and it’ll tell you what to do. Folks are pretty helpful on there, I hear, sharin’ their know-how, not like that Mrs. Higgins who keeps her prize-winning tomato recipe a secret.
They say this Dex game has 90’s retro art styling. That means it looks kinda old-fashioned, like them pictures in them magazines from when I was younger. Not all shiny and new like everything is now. It’s supposed to remind folks of the good ol’ days, I suppose, back when things were simpler and you didn’t need a computer to do everything. Though, I must say, that microwave I got last year is mighty handy.
So, that’s the long and short of it, as best as I can figure. This Dex game, with its DIY Hardware quest and fancy cloaks and whatnot. It’s a lot to take in for an old woman like me, but maybe you young’uns will find it entertainin’. Just remember to take breaks and get some fresh air, and don’t spend all your time starin’ at that screen. There’s more to life than robots and cyberpunk, you know? Like a good cup of tea and a chat with your neighbor.
In short, for Dex game and DIY hardware you need that extra outfits thing (DLC), then go to the factory part of the game (Industrial Zone), next to the Slicers place. Get your cloak and devices, or check the community guide if you’re stuck. It’s got that old-timey look, this game, but I reckon it’s fun for you youngsters.
