the crew game review

Well, let me tell ya ’bout this here “The Crew” game. My grandson, he got it on that computery thing he’s always playin’ with. Says it’s a racin’ game, cars and such. I ain’t no expert, but I seen him playin’ it, and I got a thing or two to say.

First off, it’s a big, big game. Like, really big. My grandson says the map is huge, bigger than anything he’s ever seen in them games. You can drive and drive and drive, and there’s always somethin’ new to see. Mountains, cities, deserts, it’s got it all. But sometimes, it’s kinda empty, ya know? Like drivin’ through the country, nothin’ but fields for miles.

Now, this game, it ain’t like them serious racin’ games. It’s more… arcadey, my grandson says. Means it’s fun, not too complicated. You just drive fast, smash into stuff, and try to win. And you can do it with your friends, which is nice. They call it a “crew,” like a bunch of folks workin’ together. Makes it more fun, I guess, havin’ someone to holler at when you crash.

There’s also a story, somethin’ ’bout racin’ gangs and competin’ and whatnot. I didn’t pay much attention, too much talkin’ for my taste. But my grandson, he seemed to like it. Said there’s lots of missions, things to do, cars to buy. He’s always showin’ me his new cars, shiny and fast. Says he spends hours playin’ this game, and he don’t usually stick with one thing for long.

Is it worth the money? Well, my grandson says it didn’t cost too much, and he’s been playin’ it for weeks. He says you can play for hours and hours, and there’s always somethin’ new to do. He says it’s “addictive,” like eatin’ candy, I guess. So, if you like racin’ games, and you got some friends to play with, then yeah, maybe it’s worth it.

The game ain’t perfect, though. My grandson gripes about the graphics sometimes. Says it looks a little old, not as fancy as some of them newer games. But he still plays it, so it can’t be that bad. He says the fun part is the racin’, not the lookin’ at things. And he’s right, I guess. It’s more fun to drive fast than to look at a pretty picture.

They got this big festival thing in the game, too. My grandson says it’s all about car culture, whatever that means. Sounds like a big party with lots of cars and racin’. He spends a lot of time in that festival, doin’ challenges and showin’ off his cars. It’s like a whole ‘nother game inside the game, he says.

One thing I noticed is that you always driving, all the time. I guess that’s why they call it the “The Crew”. You get to join up a group of people, and they drive together. That’s pretty neat I guess. It gives people something to do together and gets people talking. My grandson gets really excited when he plays with his friends, shouting stuff I don’t understand. He’s having fun though, that’s important. This game must be a good one if he spends all his free time on it. That says a lot.

So, overall, “The Crew” game… it’s a good time. It’s big, it’s fun, and you can play with your friends. It ain’t perfect, but what is? If you like racin’ games and you wanna spend some time drivin’ around and havin’ fun, then give it a try. Just don’t expect it to be fancy or complicated. It’s just good ol’ fashioned racin’ fun, and sometimes, that’s all you need.
