Hey there, y’all! Let’s gab a bit about them strategy games you can get on your iPhone. You know, the ones where you gotta think a bit, not just shoot everything that moves. Folks call ’em the best strategy games iOS, fancy like. But I just call ’em good thinkin’ games.

Now, some of these games, they got big names, like that Civilization 6. Heard tell it’s a whopper, lots of stuff to do. Buildin’ things, fightin’ wars, all that jazz. Time will tell if you like that one as they say. Folks say Sid Meier, whoever he is, he’s the big cheese behind it. Sounds important, I guess.

Then there’s this Clash of Clans. Editor’s choice, they say. Means it’s good, I reckon. You get your little army together, build up your place, and then fight off other folks. Sounds like a good time if you like that kinda scrappin’. Gotta protect your clan, you know.

• One game they talk about is Whiteout Survival. Sounds cold! Probably gotta bundle up in that one, ha! Don’t know much about it, but it’s got survival in the name, so I figure it’s tough.
• Then there’s somethin’ called Balatro. No idea what that is, sounds like a foreign word or somethin’. Maybe it’s one of them newfangled games the youngsters play.

Now, I seen some folks playin’ games where you gotta build towers and defend against waves of enemies. They call it TD, somethin’ about tower defense, I think. Kingdom Rush Frontiers TD is one of them. Lots of little fellers comin’ at ya, and you gotta place your towers just right to stop ’em. Keeps you on your toes, that’s for sure.

And then there’s this Minecraft Legends. Minecraft, I heard of that one. Kids are always buildin’ stuff in it. But this Legends thing, I guess it’s got more fightin’ and strategizin’. Probably gotta be smart about it, not just whackin’ blocks all day.

Let’s see, what else they got… Undead Horde 2: Necropolis. Sounds spooky! Probably got zombies and skeletons and all that creepy crawly stuff. If you like that kinda thing, I guess it’s right up your alley. Me, I prefer somethin’ a little less…dead.

Panzer Corps 2. Now that sounds like war stuff. Tanks and such. Probably gotta be good at plannin’ and maneuverin’ your troops. Not my cup of tea, but some folks like that military stuff, I guess. They also mention Six Ages 2: Lights… somethin’ or other. Can’t recall the rest, too many words for this old brain. Must be another one of them complicated ones.
